The Northwave Women's Legend SL2 Snowboard Boot is a high end all-mountain freestyle boot that includes independent upper and lower quick laces for a fast, custom fit. Adjust the fit with one pull above your arches then tug the second SL 2 lace around your ankles to secure your best riding performance. Cold hands? No worries; the laces on the Legend SL 2 have integrated handles, so they're easy and painless to crank on even if you're wearing mittens. A three-dimensional molded tongue allows flex when you transfer from heel to toe, and the moldable liner features Northwave's Heel Hold laces to lock your ankle into place. The Legend features a unique three-layer construction—hiding a supportive frame between the durable outer and cush liner—that provides both insulation for warm toes and solid support when you head into turns. The EVA and rubber outsoles are lightweight and grippy for fatigue-free hiking.

I like the lacing system on this. It is very easy to use. you tighten the top and lower half on different laces, so you can get that hand lace feel. The lace system has handles you pull and then you tuck them in on the site of the boot. Takes it really easy get a good pull on the lace. They are comfy and the have good heal hold. they are cushy and have a good flex for an all around boot.

Love my new northwaves - same comfy fit of my old ones, but the locking system allows a tighter, more secure feeling fit. The locking system is a hassle at first, but once I figured it out it is pretty easy to use + my laces never become untied while I am riding! I def recommend these boots - one note though - the sizing is slightly different from the older ones - I needed a half size bigger!
