Nitro shaped the Pantera Freeride Snowboard with a powder-loving tapered design to give you tons of float on days of trackless freshies. To give you maximum control and phenomenal pop, the Pantera features a responsive, lightweight poplar Powerlite core. Thanks to a progressive sidecut, this Nitro board tracks easily and provides easy turn initiation. A new nano-composite base gives the Pantera Freeride Snowboard plenty of speed in nearly any snow conditions.
Bottom Line: When it's deep or steep don't leave home without the Nitro Pantera Snowboard.
It looks like most brands have forgotten about guys like me that like to freeride more than they like to be in a park. If there's a couple inches of fresh you'll find me in the trees. I rode the Pantera last season after a buddy of mine got one. I loved it, it's incredibly fast edge to edge and rides like it knows what turn you're going to make next. The base is hard and fast, after demoing a Blacklight last season I understand you don't have to wax the FX base which is great for me. The flex is on the stiffer side like a good freeriding board should be. It held an edge at all speeds and felt confident without any chatter. I like that Nitro has a two year warranty and would choose this board over the Burton Super Model and Custom X any day.
This board is for all of you out there that don't care for the park.....we spend our days hiking for the snow that most dream about....and this is the board that wont let you down when you are standing on the top of an hour long hike looking at turns that make you smile like a child on Christmas morning....it has a tapered shape so it floats through pow like a dream and a progressive side cut so it can hold an edge in the chop.....
Pantera is a good freeride board with MW profile like this you can take a little bit less size and you keep your float in powder. It's a pin tail board with a set pack perfect to do a nice slash and if you like to carve in a slope it's fucking good
