The O-Matic Boron Snowboard—get your freak on without killing your bank account. O-Matic made this directional board to terrorize the resort—all of it. This deck stands up to daily use and abuse in the park and beyond with its rigid Vertwall sidewall technology and durable-yet-lightweight Intelligent core construction. VBeam carbon laminates and a biaxial fiberglass matrix add pop, and a dual radial sidecut ensures effortless turn initiation. And at this price, you'd have to be a moron not to snag a Boron. *O-Matic makes these boards in a whole ton of different colors, so keep your fingers crossed for something sick.
Bottom Line: O-Matic's village idiot that can shred like the dickens.
Just started snowboarding recently and bought this board after all my friends told me i couldn't borrow theirs anymore. Gear expert told me this was the way to go and I was not disappointed super light and turns super easy, made me think i was a little better than I am though so I got a little crazy and broke a few ribs...boards fine though :) hopefully I can go out again before season ends.
I've been really impressed with this board. I hadn't heard of O-Matic snowboards before, but I did some research and took a little risk. It seems like their philosophy is a good one: getting quality boards to people for cheap. It not only looks good, but it performs well too. I do all-mountain snowboarding and have really noticed good turning and great edging. Definitely a great board for anyone who snowboards a fair amount but doesn't want to spend too much for a quality board and wants to look good while doing it. Get it!
