Ride Flight Tomcat Snowboard Binding - 2005
This year's Flight Tomcat Binding from Ride continues the charge towards technical superiority. Ride dropped the Flight series on an unsuspecting snowboarding public a few seasons back and, since then, have lead the way with numerous advancements and an emphasis on unique design. The anatomical baseplate comes in three sizes to fit your boots without slop or pressure points. To hold you in, there are new 3D Reflex ankle straps and Convertible toe straps both designed with flexibility, adjustability, and comfort in mind. Underfoot you'll find Ride's Performance Ergonomic padding and a disc cover for complete boot to binding contact. Excess material has been removed throughout to minimize weight, while maintaining strength and on point power transfer from rider to board. Skilled riders will sink their claws into this binding's cat-like turn initiation and uncompromising support.
Bottom Line: This cat has claws.

Based off of freestyle riding, this binding has an overall softer flex than the rest. Plus, it is super light weight. No adjustment in the heel to make it as light as it is and a very comfortable strap setup. With the new convertible toe strap you get your choice with a very versatile fit for any boot. Ride it over the end of your toe or over the top like normal. Either way it is way comfortable. Overall the lightest most comfortable binding I have ever ridden.

Seriously the lightest weight binding I've ever been on. Gel under foot keeps them super comfy, the high back is super supportive, but still gives you the mobility you need. Also, the straps have a good mobility as well. I was most psyched on the ratchets though. Their on a continuous barrel so your ladders don't strip!
