After launching Cappel Clothing in 1994 and relocating to Preston, WA in 1995, Ride dropped Preston Bindings (later to become <a href="/dogfunk/subcat/48/b100000217/Ride-Bindings.html">Ride Bindings</a>) and <a href="/dogfunk/subcat/51/b100000217/Ride-Boots.html">Ride Boots</a> on the market. Ride is currently based in Seattle WA, and continues to develop revolutionary technologies and styles while staying true to its original vision of “selling the dream”.

Skate-inspired Urethane sidewall technology runs rampant in the Ride Antic Wide Snowboard, which means this wide board's sidewalls absorb impact rather than crumbling under attack. Ride also came up with a Carbon Array power distribution system that spreads carbon stringers out from the binding zone to the edges of the Antic so you get unreal board control from any stance and pressure angle (your input is channeled to the opposite contact point). A twinish shape supports your all-terrain and freestyle riding habits, the wide construction holds your big dogs steady, and included two-by-four inserts allow stance options.

Think of the Antic-wide as the little brother to the Yukon. Just a bit softer and less responsive than the Yukon, but still gives you a 90a slimewall and 4000 fusion base. This board is meant to be taken anywhere on the mountain, great for someone that has a season of riding under their belt and is ready to progress or the seasoned veteran that is looking for a quality deck at an affordable price. The waist width on this board allows riders with a size 11+ boot to enjoy their day without any toe drag.
