Ride Anthem Snowboard Boot - Men's
Ride Snowboards hit the market in 1992 with four board models and a vision of building snowboards “for the people”. Originally based in Redmond WA, Ride proved its commitment to snowboarding by signing top pros like Mikey LeBlanc, Hana Beaman, and JJ Thomas. After launching Cappel Clothing in 1994 and relocating to Preston, WA in 1995, Ride dropped Preston Bindings (later to become Ride Bindings) and Ride Boots on the market. Ride is currently based in Seattle WA, and continues to develop revolutionary technologies and styles while staying true to its original vision of “selling the dream”.

Description of Ride Anthem Snowboard Boot - Men's:
Ride gave the Men's Anthem Snowboard Boots its Lock Down Speed Lacing so you can spend time improving your riding instead of yanking on your laces. Body-heat-activated foam liners mold to the contours of your ugly (err, um, we mean sexy) feet and keep toes warm. The liners' external J Bars support your ankles and hold your heel in place for better power transfer to your board. The Anthem's EVA midsoles help absorb shock so your knees don't get punished when you stomp that landing in the park.

Bottom Line: Don't waste valuable shredding time trying to tighten your boot laces.

Solid boots 11-25-08

These aren't the top of the line boots, but they are very comfortable and the lacing system is great! You can't beat them for $150. My feet stay warm and comfortable all day long. The inner boot forms well to the foot which keeps you warm (especially if you have smartwool socks!!!). These laces are extremely durable, so don't worry about them breaking anymore than you would with normal thick laces. They are also true to size. If you want excellent boots these are completely worth it for the price. I will say, they are probably better for trails than park if you consider the flex and weight.

I love these boots! 10-07-08

I love these boots! I bought these boots at a local retailer, so I got to try them on before buying them. In all fairness to mtnrider10th2275504 (review above)... Maybe I have wide feet (i'm not sure) and I am also 6'6" (so the boot height doesn't seem to be an issue for me). These boots are about half the weight of my previous boots (some Solomon pieces of crap with a weird seem that made my feet go numb for months at a time). With size 15's the boot weight is especially critical and these boots are great (for me).

boots suck beyond belief, left them in south america 07-23-08

Let 'er rip. These boots suck!!! Way too wide and way to high!!! The most uncomfortable boot i have ever worn. It was my fault i ordered having not tried them on. I actually took them on a last minute trip to chile and traded them to a kid for 30.000 pesos (the price of a lift ticket) and a alpaca hat.
