Your first rush of park bliss on the Rome Cheaptrick Snowboard might lead to a lifetime addiction to butters, boardslides, and meaty backsides. This Rome snowboard deals in chronic park habits and the occasional back alley stunt. This true twin board got the irresistible treatment of Rome’s TTT core (tip-to-tail) that delivers the responsive flexibility and snappiness of full-length wood. Speaking of full-length wood, we’re especially excited by the Cheaptrick’s StraightBiax laminate. This jib-oriented laminate scores the dank pop and snap that your mom worried you would get into when you ventured into the park.
Bottom Line: Develop your park habit early, and get your fix on the Rome Cheaptrick Snowboard.
The Cheaptrick rides like a slightly softer Rome Artifact. I thought it was super fun for butters and ripping around the mountain in jibbatic state of mind. I am 5'11", 170 and I was ripping on the 156 having the best time ever. Beginner intermediates and rail dogs a like should check out this soft twin tipped fun stick.
Just like that first shot of cough syrup in Junior High, the CHEAP TRICK is super fun, kinda silly and a great deal. Buy it and kill the park then spend that saved dough on some real shit.
The Cheap Trick is a real sick board. The tail and tip are so soft. Give it a few day sessions for a good break in and press away on it or butter all the way to the park and hit the booter.
