Description of Sector 9 Skateboards Off The Wall Longboard:
The Sector 9 Off The Wall Longboard has unique flush-mount trucks that allow extreme carving performance without sacrificing stability. High-mounting trucks gives you the ultimate carve, but takes away the security of a low center of gravity, so Sector 9 mounts the truck chassis from above, sliding it through the deck and joining it to the axle underneath. The truck chassis sits in a recess on the top of the deck and is bolted on in standard fashion, but the result is astounding. The Off The Wall lays down absurd turns like a high-mounted board but transitions like a regular longboard, meaning you'll get even more laid out without suffering any “over the bars” instability when you change direction. Wide 69mm Nineball Slalom wheels put plenty of polyurethane on the pavement, so sliding out is not a problem, and Greaseball ABEC 5 bearings roll you over the horizon.
