Special Blend Avante Technical Shell Jacket - Mens - 2005

Special Blend let their team have their way when designing the new Avante Jacket. Hiking in the backcountry requires outerwear that will keep you dry on the inside and out. Deflecting outside moisture is the duty of the 10k of waterproofing found in the Avante jacket. Trudging up a long boot pack will leave you hot and sweaty. Open the oversized Underarm zips for instant cooling with out taking off your backpack. On deep days you'll want to attach the interior powder skirt to your Special Blend pants to keep snow out when you take a fall. Remove the powder skirt all together on days when the temperature is heating up. The Avante has an articulated hood that moves with you and won't block your view when trying to spot those blind side landings. Special Blend has used their years of experience in making outerwear for snowboarders, to create this advanced shell.

Bottom Line: Make first tracks with out breaking a sweat.
