Special Blend Lifty RLS Jacket - Men's - 2005

Special Blend makes their Men's Lifty RLS Jacket for those that spend as much time working in the cold as riding in it. Many snowboarders opt for a job at a resort in exchange for a season's pass; not a bad deal until you figure in all of the time spent standing around while others are shredding. For the down times, the Lifty RLS has a removable liner and Underarm zips to let you control your climate. A multi-function exterior pocket holds onto your walkie-talkie, so you can stay in touch with your boss – yeah right – and interior pocketing stashes what you need for safety breaks with your bros. The liner is actually a trick track jacket that you can wear to the lodge after the day's work is done. When riding connect the Lifty RLS to your Special Blend pants with their jacket-to-pant snap system, tighten down the hood and adjustable waist and go for it, this may be the only chance you get paid to go snowboarding.

I got to break this jacket in over my trip to Tahoe last week. I love this jacket, it’s so warm (mind you its not too cold in Tahoe...I started sweating because I dressed like I was still on the ice coast one day...big mistake) and the jacket liner that is removable is so sick. I wear it all the time. The jacket itself has everything you need: side pockets, inside foam padded pocket for cell phone, and within the padded pocket is another one for a iPod, MP3 or something of that sort. It has a chest pocket for a walkie-talkie, or radio, or what ever you want to put in it. It has a snow skirt (don’t know if it says that in the description or not). All and all I say it’s a great jacket and should be on your list to chose from if you are looking for one.
