Description of Toko Ski Vise World Cup:
Turn any workbench into a ski tuning and waxing bench with the Toko World Cup Ski Vise. The three-part system enables tuning of Nordic and alpine skis in both vertical and horizontal positions. Turn the skis on their sidewall when you're tuning the vertical edges, and lay them flat when you're sharpening the base edges. The Toko World Cup Ski Vise also holds the skis securely when you're ironing and scraping wax.

After having used a home grown setup for the last few years, I decided to treat myself and get a real set of vises. By the time I finished the first set of skis, I was wondering to myself why I had been doing it the hard way for so long. Highly recommended for anyone that wants to wax or tune their own gear.

From Toko: "There is a new version available this year (item number 556003) that opens up to over 85mm, so that It can accommodate some of the wider waists of the newer skis. I did these measurements at the lower part of the rubber jaws. There is probably a little more wiggle room, I was just being conservative."

This is a great travel vise! the c-clamps are very secure and open plenty wide to mount it to whatever you need. I only use this for XC skis which is works perfect for. Plenty of adjustments for whatever skis you're waxing. There's not really a lot more to say. Nice, stable, colorful vise. If you don't mind the yellow, pick it up!
