ThirtyTwo The Vela Snowboard Boot - Women's - 2005

ThirtyTwo made The Vela Women's Snowboard Boot for aggressive female riders who demand a stiffer high-performance boot. This boot is for girls who ride fast and carve hard. Featuring System G2 soles, The Vela absorbs peak impacts and won't bottom out or pack out over time, so you can ride safer for longer. The Tongue Tension Strap System with “C” Clip provides secure top-of-cuff tightening for enhanced support. An inner ankle harness along with ThirtyTwo's high-end Level 4 women's liner provides additional support, insulation, and comfort. A high-frequency welded TPU backstay increases durability and binding grip at the high-wear area along the back spine of the boot.

Bottom Line: This aggressive mid-stiff boot is an all-mountain dominatrix.

Great until fell apart

I purchased the Vela's in White/Black/Red back in November '05. I rode about 2-3 times a week in these boots and come February the heel started peeling off. The heel came off to the ball of my foot when I finally sent them back in April.

These boots work. I've gone through 9 pairs of boots trying to find the best for my frostbitten feet. These are the boots that finally fit, and they fit perfect. These boots are perfect for narrow feet and my heel stays in place. I love these boots!
