Union Union Airblaster Inverter LMTD Edition Binding - 2007
Union Binding Company teamed up with Airblaster to bring you the Inverter LMTD Edition Bindings. Built on a Union Force Binding chassis, the Airblaster Inverter LMTD will power your ride on the whole mountain, from powdery tree runs to park booters. Union used durable Zytel ST nylon in these bindings, so they won't bust, even after several 100-day seasons. Anodized aluminum heel cups give you super-duper edge-to-edge control. Lightweight EVA bushings allow for true board flex. Airblaster brought the style to this binding—the highback inset comes with a mystery medley of pterodactyls. The Inverter comes with universal disks and a lifetime warranty on its baseplates.
Bottom Line: Join the Union-Airblaster adopt a pterodactyl program.

the bindings looks and rides great. though it is a all around, freestyle oriented bindings, i mainly use them for backcountry, trees, chutes, cliffs, pillows, and little tiny bit of park when weather is crap. you will find the highbacks really flexible,,,which worried me a little when i recieved them, however after riding them all week at kickinghorse, they are proven solid, responsive, and have good flex for grabs. the look of the bindings are awsome as well. super funky with airblaster details, sure to get noticed. a lot of people cant really tell what bindings they are until you tell them. all the hardwares, and componenst on the bindings are solid and simple. no screws to loose and tooless adjustments are all nice. i rode many technines for last 5years and this bindings beats them all in my opinion. i have had many many problems with technines buckles, and all of their screws comming loose on hill. none of that with this union bindings.

After having ridden the Airblaster Inverters 3 or 4 times in the last 2 weeks, I can definitely say that they are without a doubt the best pair of bindings I've owned to this point. They are quite simple to adjust. Removing 2 screws allows you to adjust pretty much anything on the board, which is a big plus when tweaking your bindings on the hill.
The only drawback I've found is that the leather straps get scuffed up quite easily...And the straps are so flexible that you must buckle them down when you're getting on the lift, or you risk ripping the leather from stepping on them accidentally.
Due to the mix & match colors that Union uses, the highbacks will definitely get noticed.

The airblasters are dope. I don't have very much experience with other binders to compare, but these are really rugged and super comfortable. If you want something that is gimmick free, straight forward and solid, you really can't go wrong. The official description of these is dead on.
ps this is the first time I ordered from this site and I'm definitely coming back because they have awesome customer service.
