Vans Landen Insulated Jacket - Men's
Since 1966 Vans has been putting shoes on the feet of skaters and surfers. Their canvas shoes with gum rubber soles gripped onto slick piers and skinny skate decks like nothing else before it. In short time their waffle pattern sole and colorful uppers became synonymous with southern California board riding culture. Throughout the '70s and '80s skatedecks grew bigger, surfboards got smaller, and music got louder. It was during these fast times that Vans solidified their reputation with legendary skateboarders and original punk rockers, Tony Alva and Steve Caballero. To this day, Vans shoes have been worn to more skate missions, mosh pits and surf breaks than any other.

The nylon lining makes for smooth layering and helps pull moisture away from your core when you’re moving fast. The powder skirt and wind flap increase your protection from the elements on bad weather days. Keep your tunes flowin’ with the Landen’s Audio Interface System, which allows you to control your MP3 player from outside the jacket.

Good, where's the ipod pocket/controls???   12-25-08

ok I just got this for christmas, and the jacket itself is nice, warm, looks good. All basic functions work fine, however the audio interface system the description it speaks of....I can't find. Now maybe they just made it sound like it has like controls and stuff but it really doesn't, because that's what it seems like. The only pocket that seems like it is used for an ipod, is a net-like pocket on the inside with a slit that I'm pretty sure the headphones are supposed to come out of. I don't see how I'm able to control my ipod like that from outside the jacket as the item description says. Can you please e-mail me telling me if I'm right, or I'm just missing the pocket. Thanks. Good Jacket though
