You're not going to see this new piece on any of the pictures anywhere on the web or in the Ride Catalog. This piece was added to the outside of the Nitrane right before production. This new Yellow piece will 100% make sure that your boot cannot slide out of the binding.

would this new piece fit on last years contrabands(i bought them from here) and if it does how do u get the out piece

Nope... you can't get the piece separately to put on last year's bindings. It's something that is riveted on the 2010 versions of the Contraband.
