It's not in the picture above, as it was added right before production. But Ride added an extension piece to the outside of the binding to 100% guarantee that your foot stays in place while you ride. Edit: Guess it is in the picture. But it's a great update from last year to keep your boot in place and give you all the support and performance you need.

How supportive is this compared to burton cartel. Can I hit jumps with this?

came from cartels last season to these, and only got them cause they were going for 95 buck best buy ever. though they were going to offer no support and almost sold them before the first time i went out. never liked anything ride made until this point great bindings!!
