Summer is the season of diversity at the Backcountry.com offices. Employee posses of skiers and snowboarders splinter, each chasing any of the myriad warm-weather backcountry adventures to be had around Utah. That diversity is reflected in our gear awards—from tents to hydration packs, climbing shoes to kayak paddles, we worked hard to choose the best single piece of gear for each activity.
