Utah sucks. Never, ever come here. You'll get locked away in some religious prison after suffering from alcohol withdraw for so long you're forced to do something drastic.
There aren't even any big mountains here.. I don't even know why I live in Park City. Something must be wrong with me.. Just stay away. Its for your own good.

October 22, 2009

The EXTREME has a faster base, better core, a dampening system, and better fiberglass...its a stairmaster on steroids... still awesome for jibbing

New Season=New Malamutes

Salomon Malamute Snowboard Boot - Men's

Salomon Malamute Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2008

Been riding these boots for the past 4 seasons and have no complaints. Super comfortable liners. Customized is always better but when it comes to factory liners you'll have a very hard time finding better. Super easy lacing system and I haven't ever had problems with the laces fraying or breaking. Really stiff boot to start out and they keep most of it but when these finally break in they are butters. They stay incredibly responsive but get a real nice mellow flex to them that makes em perfect. If you're looking for a high performance boot for anywhere on the mountain grab these. Mixed with a medium stiff binding you've got a set up that will kill it anywhere on the mountain. You will not be disappointed in salomon boots, especially these ones. I won't ride anything else, cept maybe the f24s next year...

Best goggles I've ever had!

Spy Orbit Goggle

Spy Orbit Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 January 25, 2007

I had a pair of Spy Targas for a looong time and I finally decided to upgrade. The orbits have to be the best looking goggles out there. I have the blue steel/Blue orange spectra mirror. It's a great all around lens, great in low-medium light and the mirror really helps on brighter days. They will be better for a small-medium face, if you like larger goggles these aren't for you. I don't have any problems with them fitting my Giro G10 helmet either. These goggles don't fog up at all, have a great range of vision, and are very comfortable. I'd been putting off spending this much on goggles for awhile now but if you want a top of the line goggle you won't find anything that looks or performs better than the Orbits do.

Doesn't get any better than this

Giro G10 Helmet

Giro G10 Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 January 25, 2007

This helmet is really light/comfortable and has saved me stitches/staples more times than I would like to think about. I have the audio inserts too and they are definitely worth the extra cash. It's so nice not to have to shove ear buds/headphones into my ears anymore. The venting on the helmet is great, there is a slide on the back/top of the helmet that opens and closes the vents, real easy to use even when riding. Haven't had any issues with goggles fitting either. Really durable/protective helmet too, I've had some serious impacts that I shouldn't have gotten up from where I bounced up and rode away, no concussions yet. Definitely worth the money if you value what's inside your skull.

Sweet Hydration....

DAKINE Glacier Winter Hydration Pack

DAKINE Glacier Winter Hydration Pack

Rating for this product: 5 January 25, 2007

Really great hydration pack. Plenty of room for energy bars/snack. I wouldn't put anything fragile in there because it rides high on the back and if you were to fall backseat/backwards, whatever you're trying to protect will be history. I haven't had any issues with the quick release coming off on the lift so that's not something you should worry about. Carries plenty of water for a day and as long as you keep the nozzle in the sleeve it won't be freezing up on you. Great pack, no point spending money on anything more expensive unless you need more room.

Not so great

Red Impact Shorts

Red Impact Shorts

Rating for this product: 2 January 5, 2007

Would be nicer if they were a tighter fit. The tail bone pad moves around a lot. Go with the demon snow or the protecs, they'll work a lot better

Looking for an all-mountain freestyle deck????

Lib Technologies Dark Series Snowboard

Lib Technologies Dark Series Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2007

Won't go wrong with this dark series. Sick freestyle deck, tons of pop, the built in risers give you a lot more control. Super responsive board, can tear up the groomers but didn't get to try it out in the pow yet. Need some more of that out here right now. Perfect flex, not too soft but definitely not too stiff. Perfect for pressin boxes and just messin around too.

GET THIS BOARD!!!!!

Never Summer Heritage Snowboard

Never Summer Heritage Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 December 18, 2006

If you're looking for a burly all-mountain board then this is your best bet. I had the 162 out for the past few days, used to riding a 164 Baron es, and I am giving serious thought to sending back my Baron and gettin one of these decks. You actually have to make an effort to fall on this board, really quick from edge to edge, super responsive, great pop, and the graphic is sick. I have the Baron ES and I'm jealous of the Heritage, I might be switchin decks.
