Burton Sabbath Snowboard Boot - 08/09

Burton Sabbath Snowboard Boot - 08/09

Rating for this product: 5 March 10, 2010

Picked these up after eyeing them since last season. Dogfunk had a sick price so I had to snag a pair. I rocked 2007 Burton Hails, and I loved them, and I thought I would never find boots that were as comfy as those (once broken in, which honestly took nearly a full season). Boy was I wrong. Out of the box, the Sabbaths made me forget my beloved Hails. They fit true to size and the differences in comfort were apparent. These boots are just the right amount of stiffness, and flat landings are barely noticeable due to the plush padding. My feet could not be happier! My feet are officially spoiled. It's like walking in heaven. :-D

What a fun ride!

Never Summer Evo Snowboard

Never Summer Evo Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 March 25, 2008

I was stoked on Never Summer boards ever since I picked up a Titan last season, so I figured why not try their freestyle board out. I was concerned that it would be too stiff from other reviews, but that is not the case at all. This is such a fun stick, it just WANTS to be buttered and pressed. My airs are effortless and higher and hitting boxes are tons of fun on this board. I also tested it out on speed runs, and although it takes a little more effort and concentration to ride than the Titan (pretty much pure freeride), it still tears it up and holds an edge and turns on a dime. My only concern now is which stick to ride for what day. :-) Sounds cheesy, but my freestyle riding truly is EVOlving because of this board! Highly recommended! :-D

Burton Idiom 2.5L Pant - Men's

Burton Idiom 2.5L Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 22, 2007

Recently bought these pants. When I held them, I was initially surprised at how thin and light they felt. When I Put them on, they were remarkably warm. I started sweating with these on. I sat on a bag of ice cubes and I didn't feel the cold. Once I field test them I may review again. Very happy with purchase!

Happiest Ever. :-)

Never Summer Titan Snowboard

Never Summer Titan Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 October 12, 2007

This is my 3rd board, and I must say that I will need some hardcore convincing to switch brands in the future. This board rides like a dream. Effortless turn initiation, super stable at fast speeds going with the fall line, and snappy turn finishes. I have never felt more confident on a board than on my Titan. This board holds an edge like no other, it has NEVER slipped out from under me, even on the east coast ice that jarred me in the past. I feel like I am floating when I am on this board - the damping system cancels out nearly every vibration! This board is meant to be an all mountain freeride board, but in truth it is light enough to pop off of jumps as well. I recently rode over an exposed boulder (everything is melting now over here :-( ) and after my run, I expected a nasty gash. Not a scratch on the base. All this, with the industry's only 3 year warranty? My only complaint is that my teeth hurt from smiling so damn much on this. This thing is worth every penny. Riding this board has sealed my fate as a boarder for life.
