I tried these boots on and they are truly the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever tried. Though I am a size 13 and the size 14 fit perfectly, probably because of all the padding. Flex is more medium soft than soft.

Also, it's been over a year since I purchased and I ride about 50+ days a year and these boots are holding up amazing. My roommate uses overrated Burton boots and he is always complaining about foot pains. Where as I forget I'm even wearing boots because these are so comfortable, in other words I'm never in a hurry to take them off. I've down a considerable amount of backcountry hiking and the boots feel the same as they did the first day I wore them. I'm still not even using the ankle inserts yet so I expect alot more life out of these.

It's also a rocker so powder riding is effortless without any leg burn at all. The searching is over and this is the last board I will ever buy. I have a pair of smokin buds and these headphones sound nothing close to their quality, but they are great for working out and being saturating with hot steamy sweat. It is extremely padded so I don't second guess the protection factor when it's stuffed in my backpack with textbooks. I have the alpine plaid, which is slightly darker than the picture represents.
