Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard

November 22, 2010

Usually the rule of thumb is buy a board that is between your nose and the middle of your neck when you stand it up in from of you. Freestyle riding should have a board closer to your neck and all-mountain riding is closer to your nose. I say measure from your feet to your lower lip and pick a board size close to that and to be safe go for the longer board.
As for bindings you need a medium, on average mediums are about size 6-9. For Unions, you need a medium/large. And Unions will work on any board except Burton boards with EST or 3-Hole mounting without the proper conversion disks. In this case with the Lib-Tech board, you're in the clear!

Electric EG2 Goggle

October 27, 2010

The lenses are great. I rode mine a whole season and yardsaled them in the pow and smacked them on branches when ripping through the trees, and the anti-fog is the best I have seen in any of my previous goggles. Even after wiping loads of snow out of them. The 2 layer spherical lens is amazing, your field of vision is better than any other goggle out there. The bronze-silver chrome lense is completely mirrored, so it is amazing on sunny days, and looks super good. If you ride somewhere that has a TON of foggy days think about a different lense. My mountain has fog most of the year, but only on days where I had 10 yd visibility were the only days I had any real trouble seeing anything. Other than that, you can't beat the view of this goggle. Virtually no blind spots.

Stop shopping, Buy this suit

Airblaster Ninja Suit - Men's

Airblaster Ninja Suit - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 23, 2009

This is your all in one. Top, bottom, hood, wrist gaitors, and even a poop shoot(and we all know you want one of those). The ninja suit is definetely too warm for a sunny spring day, but when its -10 and blowing, you will stay warm without a doubt. The wrist gaitors keep your arms from getting snow in them and the fit is great.

Bottom Line-If you want a base layer that will keep you going on those cold days, and a holloween costume for next year, the ninja suit is the way to go

Skullcandy Icon 2 Headphones

Skullcandy Icon 2 Headphones

Rating for this product: 5 June 23, 2009

This headphones are perfect for a snowboarder or skier. They sound great with any type of music and are loud to top it off. The icons have been my headphone of choice for 3 reasons.
1. They sound great without compromising size
2. They look sick with a beanie and goggle combo. And,
3. If you break them, they're so cheap just buy another pair!
If your looking for a headphone that wont weigh you down or break the bank, get these stylish headphone, get 3 pairs.....

Nitro's Best Freestyle Boot...

Nitro Anthem Snowboard Boot - Men's

Nitro Anthem Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 23, 2009

this boots kills it. the liner is super comfy and the shell is one of the softest boots in the nitro lineup. all nitro boots i have tried have been super stiff, but these boots are just right, there still fairly stiff out of the box but give you a perfect blend when they soften up. Give you that quick nitro response while still giving you some play when going for that big press. This boot along with the slant are my top picks

Comfy, tight, wide range

Electric EG1-S Goggle

Electric EG1-S Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 April 20, 2009

This goggle is super universal. I don't think anyone thinks this goggle is uncomfortable. The air flow is great and has not fogged on me yet. Make sure to get the spherical lenses though. Way more badass. It's a bigger goggle which makes visibility top of the line. But it is not to big that you can still rock them with out a helmet.

Best Board This Year!

Rome Graft Snowboard

Rome Graft Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 November 7, 2008

The graft is been a board you should be getting this year. The carbon in the board gives you some of the best pop i have ever experienced. But at the same time you get super high presses with ease. The waste width is perfect for each size, I have a 153 and a 155 and both are the best boards i have ever riden.

Union Force Snowboard Binding

Union Force Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 September 18, 2008

The best binding EVER! The straight forward design means strickly performance and comfort. No nick-nacks or fancy designs. Best in terms of responsivness, the hybrid toe strap has no pressure points and fits all boots. I have had Union bindings for the past 3 years and have not found anything better.

Vans Danny Kass V Snowboard Boot - Men's

Vans Danny Kass V Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 September 8, 2008

i tried this boot at high cascade and i gotta say it was a turn on, very supportive. they have stiff ankle plates to make sure you dont hurt them. so make sure to get the correct size because if you get them a little to big they will cause you discomfort on your ankles.
