L1 Kooley Denim Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 13, 2011

These pants are the bees knees. They're pretty damn slim, which is rad, cuz I got sick of stitching my pants up. They're not the most waterproof, but they are only 8k, so you cant expect too much. They've kept me dry all winter in Steamboat so far, so thats key. The denim gets worn in really quick, which could be good or bad, depending on who you are. Finally, I'm a little bummed that they only have one zipper pocket. But I do love these guys a lot. A nice bonus- I've worn em around town and to work, and no one's noticed they're snowpants- straight street style. Also get a lot of compliments wearing them on the mountain.

Pretty Solid Bindings

Union Force Snowboard Binding

Union Force Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 4 September 22, 2010

I am solidly satisfied with these bindings... The best I've ever had- but thats not to say there are better ones out there... I rode these bindings for 2 years or so, and they worked well...
I really liked the feeling of them- response, cushy straps, ratchets etc. Super good for riding in.
But where they fell short was the construction. I know they have lifetime warranties on the baseplates and heelcups, but I didn't have problems with those specific parts. It was the screws holding everything together that did it for me... they would strip and get stuck in the binding, not allowing for much adjustment, or they will constantly loosen, making me have to tighten them every hour or so... Problems along those lines.
Overall, they were good bindings that served me well, but I definitely got frustrated from time to time.

Great beanie, love Coal

Coal The Theo Beanie

Coal The Theo Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 April 6, 2010

This beanie is sick. Its tight fitting, and won't stretch out much, which is a plus, but it is also long enough for a little sag. The stitching in the back is rad, too. The only complaint is that its a little stiff, so you might get a bit of a point in the back but thats not to big a deal after you break it in.
I'm stoked on it.
(also, i think this model is a little thicker than newer ones.)

Not a big fan

Grenade Team CC935 Gloves

Grenade Team CC935 Gloves

Rating for this product: 3 April 6, 2010

These gloves disappointed me big time. I needed a thin pair of gloves for mildly warm days (25 F+). But when I busted these guys out on the first day, they were not what i needed. It was about 27 degrees out and my hands were frozen. They don't have any liner, so you can feel the seams on the inside- and once my hands got cold, the seams made it painful to put them on.
They were however alright for WARM slushy days, like mentioned before, sunny and above 35 F. The only problem with that is that the entire palm is "grippy," so when it gets wet, it just gets slippery.
Overall, get them if you can't find anything else, but be prepared to use them only on the warmest days.

Forum Constant Snowboard Boot - Men's

Forum Constant Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 1, 2008

I've only had these boots half a season but so far they've done a great job. they're incredibly comfy, and not so bulky that it's annoying. plus, they have a good flex, which is nice in the park. they would keep my feet pretty warm, except i have bad circulation in my toes, but it's better then my last boots!
and on top of all that, they look siiiick.

very super

Special Blend Mason Snowboard Pant - Men's

Special Blend Mason Snowboard Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 28, 2007

These pants are super comfy. they look nice, especially if you like a more plain look to your pants than one with pockets, buckles, and whatnot all over.
They won't keep you warm in super cold conditions because they aren't super insulated, but for most days they keep me warm. they kept me surprisingly dry during a super rain/hail/snow/sleet storm, too.
get these pants, and be super happy.

Very nice... clean style

Coal Considered Taylor Beanie

Coal Considered Taylor Beanie

Rating for this product: 4 November 29, 2007

This hat is rad. I love the tailored fit, and the clean style. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that its pretty loose. unless I'm wearing my goggles, my hair will pretty easily slip in front of my eyes... oh well. not quite sure if its worth this price, but then again I'm pretty cheap...

Warm, cozy, and snug

Coal The Hectare Beanie

Coal The Hectare Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 November 29, 2007

I love this hat. it fits my head very snugly (no excess bag here), it isn't itchy, and quite warm. my only minor complaint is that the Coal tag on the side is very slowly falling off... but that might be from idiots grabbing at it...
definitely worth the price, especially because i think i payed $25 at a retailer.
