High quality, but needs some work

Technine MFM Pro Snowboard Binding

Technine MFM Pro Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 3 February 11, 2009

No hardware on these have loctite on them, at this point Ive lost a toe cap and a heel strap. They are extremely high quality, they are flexible, have good hold, the heel cup slides forward or back which allows the user to deepen the heel cup. The response is incredible because there is a "freemoving" part of the heelcup that wraps around and is screwed into the base of the toe which translates high back pressure into full binding pressure. These bindings are super light. The ratchets DO slip once they get too tight, but if you hold onto the strap when you tighten it it will get tight enough. I only have the issue on the toe straps and Ive replaced the ladder straps.

In summation:
Cons:
-No Loctite
-CHECK YOUR HARDWARE/GET LOCTITE
-Ratchet Slipping

Pros:
-Lightweight
-Awesome Response
-Cushy straps
-Split toe capstrap is incredible!
-Well padded baseplates. Tons of Padding

overall Im impressed with the bindings, but I wish the ratchet design was improved, and the hardware was loctite.

Amazing boots!

Rome Folsom Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rome Folsom Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 8, 2008

These boots are so comfortable, and easy to take on and off. My boots last season hurt my ankles like crazy to get on and off. I wear them around the house because they don't make my feet super toasty and are more comfortable than my street shoes. LOOK AT THE LINER! ITS AMAZING. Id give these boots 10 stars if I could

Nidecker Viper Snowboard Binding

Nidecker Viper Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 February 26, 2008

I switched from K2 cinch cts and these wins hand down. These are the best bindings Ive ever used. the only thing that has felt the same are burton cartels.

the only problem I have with them are the straps are kinda short and I got the biggest size, I have a size 12 boot and my straps are on the last screw for the toes.

Decent

K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Binding

K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 3 February 15, 2008

They have a comfortable feel, I liked the step in, however they started falling apart a little on me after about 3 weeks. The cable started to fray a little, all the finish on everything came off, the loops to hold the cable broke. I would have kept them if they werent too small. I switched up for some Nidecker Vipers and I was much happier. Lot better hold, more lateral flex a lot lighter.

In summation if you want a good binding for just riding down the hill that you can get in and out of quick then get the K2's. 06/07 were much sturdier than the 07/08, a little heavier, but Im happier with those than I am with the ones Ive returned
