When I first started boarding, I was in your same situation. I weigh 220 but I am 6'1. I went with an inexpensive board(Nitro Magnum 162). When I got good on that board I traded it in for more of a freestyle terrain shredder(Burton X8 ICS). I had a blast on my Magnum and it taught me a lot. Don't go too expensive bro! Click on the All-Mountain section in this website then select least expensive to more expensive in the drop down menu. You'll find a great starter board under $400. Board safe homie!

Hey bro! I had a skunk ape from 2007/2008. I rode it a lot in the park especially on boxes because it was very smooth and extremely stable for a freestyle board. Don't get me wrong, it has a lot of pop but I think you'll be just fine hittin' 10 foot kickers. I wouldn't go bigger than that though.....then you'll feel some pain! LOL;-) Board safe homie!

Hey bro! I also have an 11.5 Burton Moto.....I have an exact width that you need to look at. Since I am also a big footed rider the MINIMUM WAIST WIDTH that I look at is 24.8(248mm). If it is smaller than that you will drag your heels and toes. I don't know how many boards I have gone through to tell you that but it's the truth! Take care and board safe homie!

Burton has it listed as a 3 for feeling but it's wicked poppy bro. On a FLEX scale from 1-10 I would rate this board at a 6 or 7. It's pretty flexy! I can ollie all day long and backside/frontsides are a cake walk. Board is super light! Board safe bro!

Denis, this warranty info is straight from GNU Snowboards: "All products made by Mervin Mfg have a one year warranty against manufacturer’s defect. This is provided by us for those products sold through Mervin’s Authorized Dealers only. It covers defects in materials and workmanship. This does not cover normal wear and tear, excessive abuse by riding things other than snow, or impacts due to your steering problems. You must keep your sales receipt when you purchase a Mervin Mfg. product. This is your proof of purchase and you will need to show this if you need to warranty your product. It is good for the original purchaser only and is void if your product is purchased from another person or unauthorized dealer" Take care bro!

What's up Brandon! Bro, stick with a 148 when you grab this board. Try it out! If it's too small then you can always send it back to the Funk' and change it out for a 155. I'm 6'0 and ride a 155. I love shorter boards because I feel like I have more control. Take care bro!

I think they are sized a little small. I bought an 11.5 and that's what I wear in all other boots but this pair made my damn toenail fall off about 2 weeks later! Cut off the circulation and I didn't even realize it, LOL. Good pair of boots though, a little stiff, go a half size up;-)
