Just picked up a Never Summer SL-R for the 09/10 season. All-mountain riding...
Dropped Wolverine Cirque the other day on my SL and floated like a leaf at high speed with absolutely no chatter!!! Can't wait to go to AK!

Never Summer SL Snowboard

The great thing about the r.c. Tech on these boards is you don't have to get them big to be stable. If you like the 155 you used to ride and are comfortable on it, you'll love the SL 155. I know cause I have one!

You really can't go wrong with either. I have the SL wear an 8.5 so I don't have to worry about toe hang. Not sure on the exact specs of the width. try contacting a gear head directly, they've got all the answers!

Never Summer Circuit-R Snowboard

most come with the blue base with green NS logo. but why worry about the color of the base bro? NS makes some of the best boards on the market and they are made right here in the States unlike other companies that outsourced their products to other countries recently...

Burton Fix Snowboard - 09/10
February 14, 2010
pass on Burton and buy Never Summer. for what you are describing go for the Never Summer Evo-R. Gives you the flex you want for rails and butters, but also allows you to hit some kickers as well. And the R.C. tech allows you to float the deepest goods with ease!

K2 Snowboards Grom Package S - Boys'
February 14, 2010
Chris has good points, board should be somewhere between chin and nose... starting out, I'd suggest keeping it a bit closer to the chin. As your boy gets bigger, weight is sometimes a better way to buy, but also consider desired style of ride... but for now, stick with height of the chin (or maybe a little extra so the little guy can grow into it and you don't have to buy him another board next year to save yourself some $$$).

The large should fit you. I'm a bit shorter than you but have broad shoulders as well and always wear medium jackets with layers under and it fits perfect. The large should bring in the bagginess and be long enough for you

depends what you like to ride... if you are riding park, rails etc. you'd be fine with the 144... but if you want to be able to freeride a bit more pick up the 150

Never Summer SL-R. Best all round board you can buy. Stiff enough to bomb big lines, but flexible enough to press out play time!

bend them with your hands stand on em and bounce up and down. they certainly loosen up. once you've got these boots broken in you're going to love em...wear them around beat em up a bit. trust they get flex with a little work but they are definitely going to be more stiff than ur motos.

Capita Stairmaster Snowboard

If you have the extra cash get the Never Summer Evo. Rocker/Camber tech blows everything out of the water including any Banana you can find... if you already have your all mountain board and want a stick for straight park size it down and get your spins on... just be sure to dull down your edges for those rails. For your dollar Stairmaster is the way to go

Bro, go with the 148 if you like to bomb... 148 is plenty small for jibbing and rails but it will give you a little extra surface space to keep up with your boys that are riding their 153s
