Dress shirts that fits

Volcom Ex Factor Solid Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Volcom Ex Factor Solid Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 6 days ago

This is my favorite button down shirt. It has a slightly tapered cut so it fits my frame very well. I'm a 42 in the chest and a 32 waist, so dress shirts often look very baggy on me. This one doesn't billow out at the waist like so many other shirts. The Ex Factor looks great under a sport coat or untucked with a pair of jeans. The fit is slim. I'm 6' 170 lbs and the medium was a perfect fit.

Sustainable in style

Arbor Slate Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Arbor Slate Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 13, 2012

On sale, this shirt gives you all the feel-goods from a bamboo garment without the crazy price tag. It is a comfortable shirt with a nice athletic cut. The material it comfortable and light but doesn't feel flimsy. My only gripe is that the bottom button is above my belt buckle. Other than that it's a really nice button-down.

Solid shirt

ERGO Clothing Owlstein Custom T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 13, 2012

This T feels like it's made of organic cotton. It's quite soft and comfortable right off the bat. The owl is freakin awesome! You can't see it in the pictures, but the left seam from the hem to the end of the sleeve is stitched in red.

The fit is slim, not skinny. I'm 6' 165# and the medium perfect.

Comfy, Sneaky Flannel

Matix Mojo Flannel Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Matix Mojo Flannel Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 16, 2012

The Mojo is super soft against the skin but it doesn't feel like it's going to tear the first time you stumble into a brick wall. The White pattern has some sweet green accents that don't show in the photo. The fabric is a bit stretchy, unlike most of my flannels. While the cuffs and the top button are regular, stitched-on buttons, the rest (pockets and remaining 6 up the front) are cleverly disguised snaps. Also, the second from top button is gold instead of white like the others.

The fit is pretty darn good. I'm 6' 165# and the medium is a good length through the back and the sleeves. However, it is not a slim cut. It's slimmer than a regular flannel, but there's still plenty of room for the beer belly I don't have. Trim a couple inches in the gut and you've got a stellar shirt.

Classy

Matix Union Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Matix Union Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 2, 2012

Got the tan and it's a pretty awesome shirt. The fabric is medium weight and fairly stiff. I like the different colored lining at the cuffs and collar. The only problem I have is that the forearm opening is too narrow for me to roll the sleeves past my elbow. I can fold the cuff up to my elbow, but it won't go past there.

Solid glove

686 Access Pipe Glove

686 Access Pipe Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 13, 2009

I chose between these and the Special Blend Hoya's and I haven't been disappointed. These are super low profile, look sick without being outrageous, and have great construction. The dark patch by the thumb is a figure-eight shaped piece of leather that goes across the webbing of the thumb and onto the first knuckle of your first finger. The neoprene cuff is a bit tight to get on, but is perfect once it's on. The textured rubber on the palm is really durable and grippy. The tricot lining is super soft and really comfortable. The windproofing and waterproofing are pretty good. I've used these gloves for winter running and cross country skiing and they've been great thus far.

Nice Gloves

DAKINE Bronco GT Glove

DAKINE Bronco GT Glove

Rating for this product: 5 November 7, 2008

Got them in olive. The low profile looks sick and really improves dexterity (I can type with them on). They look great with my Wing Man jacket. Warm without the bulk and passed the sink test with flying colors thanks to the Gore Tex.

If you don't want to bankrupt yourself, check these out. They're a good binding and they don't cost $300. Lightweight and easy to adjust. I wear a size 10 shoe and the mediums fit great.

Volcom Le Tigre Slub Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 8, 2008

Undoubtedly my favorite hoody. The tigers are awesome. The fit is pretty slim so size up if you want a baggier look. It's super comfortable and you can't beat the graphic and "The only constant is change" stitched into one of the shoulder seams.
