My experience was exactly as Mark Berger described, in fact I had to look twice to make sure I didn't submit that review! The burton chopper may have been beneficial for the first two mountain trips but was no good after that. It didn't take my eight year old very long to drop bad habbits and develop his shredding once on the Lib Ripper.

I don't have the cash flow to be buying a new board every couple of years, so when I buy a new board it has to be something I'll be happy with for a while. I borrowed 5 different boards over the last season to help me decide what kind of board to buy but I knew nobody who had the La Nina. I decided to buy it without trying it and think it is the best board I have ever been on!!! Fast and fun to play on while cruising through the trees!

They still work great and have held up better than I thought they would. They are a bit thin for the cold weather in Alberta Canada.
