Great binding. Great value.

Rossignol Cuda Snowboard Binding

Rossignol Cuda Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 February 6, 2013

I cannot stress enough how comfortable these bindings are, especially for being an all mountain style binding. The footbed is amazingly soft which dampens vibrations and also saves your feet when you take it a little too deep in the park. All that said the Cuda is still very responsive, transferring power from edge to edge like a dream. I've ridden the Burton Co2, flux tt30 and union force in the last few years and this is my favorite of the 4.

Real fun especially if you only can have one.

Rossignol Templar Magtek Snowboard

Rossignol Templar Magtek Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 February 6, 2013

I am absolutely loving on this board this year. Rossignol really did a great job in getting this board into their line up this season. It is very similar to the One Magtek but is all around more mellow. The 5 points of magnatraction vs the traditional 7 points makes for a little less aggressive bite from the edges but still gets the job done when you really dig in. Also the Templar is a little softer than some of the other "quiver killers" which has turned out to be super fun and playful. I've spent days getting after it in the park and days hiking backcountry on this board and I haven't even considered putting bindings on anything else. Highly recommend this board.

Simple and stylish.

Rossignol Cobra Snowboard Binding

Rossignol Cobra Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 February 8, 2012

Simple and stylish. These binders are a no frills, cost effective way to keep your board attached to your feet without sacrificing performance. Straps with adjustment on both sides allow you to dial in a perfect fit without the need for tools and the adjustable high backs offer plenty of response without feeling overly stiff. The straps are not the most comfortable I've had but they get the job done. Plush padding in the baseplate is noticeable in dampening vibrations and comes in handy when you take it to the flats.

Any mountain, any day, hella fun.

Rossignol One Magtek Snowboard

Rossignol One Magtek Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2012

With a like "One" a board better be able to deliver, and let me assure you, the Rossignol One Magtek does indeed deliver. I am positive you could take this board to any mountain, on any day, in any conditions and have a blast riding it. The Magne-Traction edges keep you locked in and leaving trenches in even the gnarliest of ice but somehow avoid feeling catchy while playing around in softer snow. The Amptek camber provides awesome stability at face melting speeds and keeps you floating through "the lightest snow on earth" and "Pacific Northwest Concrete" alike. With a year like we've been having (2011-2012) the amount of time I've spent in the park has been pretty high and I have been continually impressed with the One's feel on both large booters and smaller more playful features.

I've ridden plenty of super $$$ boards and can honestly say this is a better pick, both for your wallet and your experience on the mountain. Truly a "quiver killer" board that can take you from gnarly peaks to gnarly parks all in the same run.

Not this year...

Burton Moto Snowboard Boot - Men's - 08/09

Burton Moto Snowboard Boot - Men's - 08/09

Rating for this product: 2 October 13, 2009

I've owned these boots for the last few years so I purchased these thinking they would be pretty similar... wrong. The single pull lacing is a joke compared to the two zone system of the previous year, and although I sized the boot correctly I am getting tons of heel lift. Looks like the Rulers will be getting at my bank account this year. On a positive note it is nice to know Backcountry.com will take care of my return, thanks guys!
