You're paying for the neck pillow & built in hood eye/face shade..& they work well. Plus, you don't have to look like a dork wearing a neck pillow & elastic band eyeshade.

It's not as plush/soft as i imagined..& a little heavier than i'd like. It's not quite as ugly in real life..the pattern is a dull grey.

It works..definitely saves the neck..a little pricey. Wish they'd come out with a fleece version in plain black.

Too thin. Disappointed Burton Long Trail Down Jacket - Women's January 12, 2009 Surprised to find it's too thin, with not enough down for real warmth. Really surprising since burton makes good quality stuff & they specialize in winter sports. The jacket is really well made with attention to detail though..just not nearly enough down for proper winter warmth. Maybe sufficient for mild winter conditions.
