Nomis Touch Insulated Jacket - Men's

October 19, 2009

It really depends on what sort of fit you want. If you liked the fit of the L, then go for it! But yeah, I'm 5'11" and I rock the L for a slightly baggy fit, and I love it. It really depends on what sort of fit you're looking for.

Nomis Touch Insulated Jacket - Men's

October 19, 2009

Yeah I would get an XL. I'm 5'11" and only 145 lbs and I got a L, fits me perfect for a slightly oversized fit. For your size, it would probably be fairly snug if you got a L.

Nope, there is no liner in this jacket. The powder skirt is not removable either.

Nomis Touch Insulated Jacket - Men's

September 17, 2009

Not really, but not short either. Check the photos of me wearing it, I'm 5'11" and bought a L, it goes about to the bottom of my buttcheeks, sleeves go out to my fingertips.

Nomis Touch Insulated Jacket - Men's

I'd say electric blue. By sky blue I meant like a soft light blue, the jacket's color is exactly like in the photos here on Dogfunk. It's a great looking jacket, I can't wait to start wearing mine.

Nomis Touch Insulated Jacket - Men's

August 19, 2009

Well I'm not able to test its function in the snow, but so far it seems like an awesome jacket. The material is almost like a very, very soft denim, but it isn't stiff like denim. Has a powder skirt, pass sleeve that's accessible when the jacket is closed, goggle pocket, internal mesh media pocket, pit zips, wrist gaiters, and it's warm and comfortable. Not to mention awesome looking. As far as color goes, I got the blue, and the photos here on dogfunk are spot on. Ignore the photos on the Nomis website, the jacket is not a sky blue. I'm stoked on it!!

Nomis Rhym Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

May 3, 2009

Yeah I'd probably go with a L, chron1k. If you're 5'7" the XL would probably be at your knees. Go for the L, and if it's just right, just hang it up to dry instead of putting it in the dryer and you should be good to go!

The site here says the material is 80% cotton and 20% polyester, but the tag on the hoodie says 100% cotton, so expect it to shrink a bit like other cotton hoodies.

AWESOME

Nomis Rhym Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Nomis Rhym Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 28, 2009

This is a freakin sick hoodie, Nomis definitely has it right. I got it in Crystal, the colors are about right in the photos, but the inner color is more of a green than a yellow, it's better I think. I'm 5'11" and 145lbs, I bought an XL and it's definitely a little big, but not too bad if you're going for an oversized look. A couple warm washes and it should shrink a bit for a better fit. I wouldn't recommend an XLT unless you're a very tall person, the XL on me goes to the middle of my thigh. Honestly I probably should have got a L, but I'm so tired of Ls continuously shrinking until they fit like Ms. Anyway, it's a sick hoodie, and I'm really glad I picked up on sale at Brociety.

Nice pants, but big

Nomis Simon Signature Cargo Shell Pant - Men's

Nomis Simon Signature Cargo Shell Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 29, 2009

Really stoked on these pants, got the white/purple. I'm 5'11" and 145 lbs, and the M is a little big and long, belt required, they drop to the floor without one. S would have been better for me. Besides this, they're great pants, 3 pockets besides the front/back, gaiters with a grabber at the bottom, large inner leg zip vents. Water wicks right off. No dragging under my size 10.5 boots. Probably want at least 1 inner layer though to stay warm on cold days.

Not that bad

Ride LX Snowboard Binding

Ride LX Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 4 January 19, 2009

I've been riding the Ride LX for 2 seasons (now on my third), and they are really not that bad. Not the best, but they're great for beginners. They are somewhat heavy, but they are durable and I've never had any trouble with them. I wear boot sizes 10-10.5 and I bought the Large, whenever I strap in, the ratchet tightens almost all the way, so I wish I had gone with Mediums.

Nice Beanie

DAKINE Tall Boy Beanie

DAKINE Tall Boy Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

I love this beanie, it's slightly oversized, so you can wear it cuffed or straight. If you wear it straight, there will be a tad extra on top, or you can pull it down in back for that look, it'll keep your neck warmer too. The fabric can be a little itchy at first, but I got used to it fast and it doesn't bother me anymore.

Sick hat!

Burton Lunaticular New Era Hat

Burton Lunaticular New Era Hat

Rating for this product: 5 December 21, 2008

Pretty sweet hat, I bought the black one. All of the Burton logos are little plastic things sewn into the hat, you can't feel them while you're wearing it. They are either blue or pink depending on what angle you're looking at them, but they seem to be more prone to pink than blue. The hat rides a little lower than my New Era Mariners hat, so had I tried on this 7 3/8 first, I might have gotten 7 1/4 instead, but it shrinks some if you get it wet and heat it. I'm definitely glad I bought this hat!

Spy Zed Goggles w/Free Extra Lens

Spy Zed Goggles w/Free Extra Lens

Rating for this product: 5 December 18, 2008

Got the white ones with the white/green strap and gold mirror lens, and they are awesome. They look badass, and they fit well and perform great. If there's a lot of light, you might see a bit of your eyes reflecting in the lens, but it's not enough to impair your vision. And the $35 dollar price tag on WM was very nice. Stoked on these goggles, really glad I bought em.
