Since there is no insulation, this jacket won't be warm by itself. Adding a layer like a fleece or polyfill insulated jacket will warm it up. Most snowboard jackets are shells, like this one, because it offers the most versatility. Wear no layers, when it is 40F and then when it gets cold, layer up accordingly.

Yes, these will have that zipper. All Holden pants will zip to all Holden jackets. You can't mix and match brands though.

They are a little slimmer than some, but won't be a tight rocker fit, if that is what you are looking for. I would check out some Holden pants or the Ronin Rocket pant

Vans has been in the game since 66' and these kicks are classic. They are really comfy and the easiness of slip on and off is great. The tongue uses an elastic on the sides to keep them tight and allow ease of entry. I find that these fit about .5 big, like all vulk sole sneakers. I normally wear a 10 in something like nike dunks or cup sole skate shoes. I am rocking a 9.5 in these and I like it. Good lifestyle sneaks. Not running shoes by any mean. Your feet will hurt if you try and run even a 100 feet in these. For skating I found them to be basic and have lots of feel. They did shred pretty easy, but I expected it

I used to have a pair of these on a WWW and I liked them a lot. The thing that most impressed me was all the adjust ability they had. You adjust all the following: Toe ramp, heel loop length, toe strap, heel strap, high back rotation, and forward lean. The straps are tool free too, which is nice. Beyond that, this binding has a nice soft highback and even uses funnel pieces at the ratchets to get the ladder through easy. A solid package for sure.

What impressed me most about these Hsus was the footbed. It was way more comfy and padded than most footbeds that come with skate shoes. Overall good style Sizewise, I sized down .5, as I do with all Vulk sole skeakers and it was worth it. In cup soles (nike dunk etc), I wear a 10 and I got these in a 9.5. Woo

CAPP3L Lexington Jacket - Men's
April 1, 2009
I like this jacket a lot. I was looking for something more street style, without a hood. I was planning on just wearing it around town, but I noted when I got it that it was 1000K water resistant. So I rocked a hoodie under it for some hesh style and took it on hill with some tight holden pants. Lookin good. It even has an internal pocket for my ipod. Yay. And the liner is all tiny babes in small clothing I am 5'11" and 170. I normally wear a large and I got a large in this. True to size fit. The length came down to about 1-2 inches past my belt

I just picked up a pair of the Grey Suedes. I like them a lot. Super comfy. Sizing seemed pretty legit and true to size. The dark greys are a little darker than they look in the pictures on this site. These shoes are tall. I put them next to some SB highs and these were about an inch taller. I like it

These shoes have some great things going for them. They look good, and the strap over the foot can be cranked down really hard, for a tight fit and custom style. I got these in the yellow and they are much more of a mustard yellow than what they look like in the pictures. Think of Deli Mustard. Sizing - these fit about .5 size big because they are vulks. Size down .5. I normally wear a 10, ordered a 10, and wished I had a 9.5 Otherwise, all the good things you would expect from Es

Holden Bookman Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's
January 7, 2009
I have owned a lot of Holden Hoodies over the past few years as they are my favorite outerwear brand in snowboarding. This hoodie has a longer slimmer fit. I usually wear size Large Holden Jackets, but I went with an XL in this and am glad I did so. I am 5' 11", 170, for reference. You will also notice this has longer sleeves too. Also, the pictures don't do justice to how cool the heathering is, detailed in the fabric colors. I suggest buying this over any other hoodie out here, if you want that clean, hip look.

I got a pair of these part way through last season and I was impressed with them for a few reasons. First off, they are super flexible and durable. Second they are super wide. The only down side was the mirror wore out after a lot of days

I recently got this watch in the gray / all black color and I am super happy with it. I wanted something super comfy that I could wear while riding and around town. The watch seems durable and does what it is supposed to. It tells me the time and what day of the month it is. And it has a cool basic euro look to it.

I bought these shoes to avoid having the Vans Authentics everyone else has and still have a basic good looking set of kicks. I haven't skated them yet, but they are surprisingly comfortable. The foot bed in these def has more padding than the Vans Authentics or slipons. I am rocking the laces, but you could rock these as slip ons for sure. I usually wear a size 10 and I got these in a 10. They fit well. I could have squeezed a 9.5 if I really wanted to. Note - these have a cup sole that looks like a vulk sole.

I bought these pants because I wanted something that would perform solid and look good. I am a guy and I wanted girl pants with a tighter cut, because guys pants just don't do it for me. These pants are sick in person and fit great. Other good notes - fleece in the knees and but is nice. 20K = heck yeah. These are a tailored fit in the legs around the knees most. I wear a 32" pant normally and got these in large. They actually seem to have a little extra room. Holden makes the best outerwear out there. Hands down and these pants prove it.

Oakley O Frame Goggle
November 3, 2008
The O frame might not have the spherical lens of an A frame or the cool side bars of a crowbar, but it does have straight up classic performance and appeal. I like this goggle, because my face is bigger and it fits bigger faces well. I also like how you can swap straps around with other O frames. I currently have the Matte Blacks with the strap flipped inside out, so there is no logos. Sick

I rode the 2009 Libertine last spring and it was awesome. At the time I was on a 2008 pair of Burton Sabbaths. The libertine sized similarly. It was a little softer though, which I liked for the park. These boots look amazing in person, with the zipper details. Get the Bowery glove to match and bam, sick. Get these if you want a comfy, good flexing freestyle boot.

The Cheaptrick rides like a slightly softer Rome Artifact. I thought it was super fun for butters and ripping around the mountain in jibbatic state of mind. I am 5'11", 170 and I was ripping on the 156 having the best time ever. Beginner intermediates and rail dogs a like should check out this soft twin tipped fun stick.

The Graft is an awesome board. Carbon Fiber in the nose and tail gives you pop, while no carbon in the middle gives you a smooth flex for presses and Butter. Tap that off with sick graphics and a good shape and this board really can't be beat at the price. A+

This board rides real good for $300. If you are looking for something with a good shape and super soft flex than this is up your alley. Skip that beginner directional board someone is trying to sell you and jump on a twin like this. It will help your riding right from the gecko.

I rode this last year on snow hoping that it would be decently soft. Overall if it had lots of pop, but rode more like a stiffer freestyle twin. So if that is what you are looking for, this is a bargain. If you want soft buttery fun, look somewhere else.

Rome 390. Can't beat it. The under wrap heel loop is great for performance (heel to toe) and it is super adjustable. The plush heel strap is the best too. And these look sick. With sizing, I am riding a 9.5 Libertine in a s/m. There is a sizing overlap with s/m l/xl. I would go s/m with 9.5 and down unless you have a bulky boot like a 32 or DC. You will get tighter performance.

The Gnu SS BTX is a decent board. Think of it as a Skate Bananas younger softer brother. I liked the flex on the 154 I rode for 2 weeks on Mt Hood this summer. Easy to butter etc. The magnatraction can't be beat when ripping an icy pipe too. I did not have any issues with mine breaking at all when I was out there. I think the new BTX is a much nicer, stronger board than last years version, which was not BTX and costs $100 less.

The Love jacket. This thing has the coolest liner ever. Ladies! Know though, this jacket fits real long. It might be worth downsizing one size from your normal jacket. The torso of it is not wide though. Normal jacket width, long length and kind of baggy arms. Interesting fit, but it is cool and different.

The BFB really surprised me on Hood this summer. It had a great flex, was comfortable and just looked really cool. The picture don't speak for how cool these boots are. Fits true to size.
