For the waterproofing the higher the number the more waterproof it is. For the breathable rating the higher the number means the coat breathes better and is more comfortable in most conditions.

This is just a shell so if you wear this only you will be cold. BUT if you wear some layers under it you will be good to go. This is great because you can use one jacket for all temperatures. Wear lots of layers if its cold, and take some off when it warms up.

These actually do a pretty decent job and its nice being able to put them where you want them so you can choose the best place for them to grab on to your specific boots sole.

These are not a good riding boot. They are made to play in the snow and look good doing it.

They are pretty bling, not a polished gold but definitely a satin shiny gold.

Its a softshell type jacket and would be perfect for warm spring days as it will keep you somewhat dry. If its snowing and cold out you need a better jacket.
