re-run runs my wrist

Nixon Rubber Re-Run Watch

Rating for this product: 4 December 20, 2010

This guy is much bigger than I expected, but I'm still diggin' it pretty hard.

Face is 1.5" wide X 1.25" tall

To give some perspective, my wrist is 6.5" around, and this watch fits perfectly. If you're looking for a good looking eye catcher, this is it. The silicone band is super soft and flexible, and the watch stays in place with no sliding. Still deciding on whether or not to keep it, but feeling like it's going in my collection for good.

Electric Detroit Sunglass

Electric Detroit Sunglass

Rating for this product: 4 December 19, 2010

Got 'em in Red, and they turn heads. For those of you who are looking for a less agro tilt than the Rayban WayFarers, these are a good choice.

Lenses are 2" tall from top to bottom of frame, and 2.25" wide from side to side of frame.

They're pretty big, but if you don't mind covering a good chunk of your face, even folks with smaller heads can handle these.

Ladies...you need these

Anon Hollyweird Sunglasses

Anon Hollyweird Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 December 19, 2010

Been rockin' 'em since the day I got 'em, even in the dark.

For those of you ladies who want the steeze but don't wanna be stuck behind massive frames, the Hollyweirds are a go. Get 'em. In every color. Rock 'em hard.

Lenses are 2" tall from top to bottom of frame and 2.25" inches wide from side to side of frame.

Sporting these while working out hard, you will find that there is no nose-slip or discomfort. They fit snug, but not tight, and hang on like they were lined with velcro. The mirroring on the lenses is a bit darker than what you see in the photo, so it's a pretty snazzy contrast to the silver frame.

Really, when you're as cool as you are, you should have these.

freezer burn no more

Spacecraft Bandana

Spacecraft Bandana

Rating for this product: 5 December 19, 2010

Bought this in Spaceworld for those extra cold and extra polluted rides to the daily grind. The fleece lining is unbeatable and the venting is perfect for those moments when you're breathing heavy as your mashing on your pedals. Flip it inside out, and you've got a sleek ninja black mask to face the world. The pattern kicks, and you won't be more comfy as you skid to the door.

Get it. Or don't. But if you don't, you'll wish you had.

so good my bff begged me for one

Spacecraft Cat Tree Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Women's

Spacecraft Cat Tree Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 19, 2010

As far as hoodies go, I'm a bit of a connoisseur. This hoodie leaves nothing to be desired. The lining is extremely soft, and the hood is big enough to hide you from anything, including biting wind and a little bit of precip. It is by no means waterproof, but the polyester helps it sheds those drops just a little. Wore it to my friend's house and as I walked in, she pointed to it and said, "I want THAT for Christmas". As I already had the black one, I bought her the brown. Both of the colorways are awesome. The print on the black is less pink than what you see in the photo. It's a light almost neon purple. The print on the brown is a darker lime green.

It does have thumbholes in the cuffs, but the cuffs are very baggy. The thumbholes are extremely tight, so unless you have small, slender fingers, these holes will cut off your circulation. The zipper is a bit sharp at the top, but that should go away after a washing or two and a little bit of wear.

This hoodie is hot! (and I don't just mean warm). You need one...

stuck to my wrist, every day

Nixon Small Scout Watch - Women's

Nixon Small Scout Watch - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 19, 2010

For a long time, I couldn't wear watches. The batteries always died. Finally got my Swatch to work, so I went on the prowl for new wristwear. This is the first watch I swooped up, and I've worn it every day since I got it. The band is wide enough to cover my wrist tattoo (which my boss appreciates) but not wide enough to look like an arm warmer. Bought it in Blockade, and the pattern on the strap is awesome. Some variation in strap pattern is to be expected, but it just makes the watch that much cooler.

The band is 1.25" wide and 8.5" long from buckle to end
the face is 1" long by 1.25" wide

Have to wear business casual at my full time gig, and even my boss compliments me on this watch. Dressy enough to look good with slacks and a blouse, casual enough to wear with jeans and a tshirt. This is a must-have time piece.

Big enough for your tent and sleeping bag, plus some lipgloss

RVCA Mercy Bag - Women's

RVCA Mercy Bag - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 December 19, 2010

Thought this bag would be the perfect night-on-the-town carry all. Big enough for a small cardigan and my wallet, but not as big as my Chrome Mini Metro. Oh boy howdy...the RVCA Mercy Bag is definitely not that.

Ladies, this bag is HUGE. To put it into perspective, when I got it out of the box, I hung it on my shoulder like a purse. It went down to almost my knee. I am 5'2" with a pretty average length torso. Then I slung it over the other shoulder like a messenger bag, and it hit my hip. It's shaped like a kidney bean, and expands to be quite wide. To test out its stuffability, I threw in 3 hoodies, 2 pairs of jeans, and a pair of shoes. Girls, there was STILL room in this bag for more.

If you're looking for a glitsy glamorous over-night bag for those road trips to Vegas, this is the bag for you.

Roxy Hit The Road Jacket - Women's

Roxy Hit The Road Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 30, 2010

For those of you who like feeling like you're wearing a scarf 24/7, you will not find a better jacket. The collar on this jacket is HUGE and engulfing. It lays reasonably flat when folded down, and comes up over your ears when popped. The collar itself is like a cable knit sweater, while the jacket is more like your everyday cotton hoodie. The cotton/polyester combo makes this incredibly soft on the inside, with a more traditional polyester feel on the outside. I was hoping for more poly, but hey...you can't always get everything you want.

True to Roxy sizing, the fit is pretty slim/athletic. Stick with your standard shirt size. If you like your jackets a little looser, definitely size up.

Only major drawback on the Vanilla Ice colorway is that the cuffs get a little bit dingy, pretty quickly.

Overall...Great jacket, and just dressy enough to wear to work.

Set the Jet, and the Stage

Volcom Jet Set Cardigan - Women's

Volcom Jet Set Cardigan - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 30, 2010

Put this on the moment I got it and went out for a night on the town. I am 5'2" and this hits me mid thigh. It is long enough to wear as a dress with some chic leggings or your fav pair of skinny jeans underneath. The sleeves are extra long, with tight enough cuffs that they may be difficult to roll if you need to. The asymmetrical zip is EXTRA flattering for those with shorter torsos, as it elongates your mid section. The cotton/nylon/elastane combination is very soft and comfy. Pockets aren't huge, but will accomodate your SpaceCraft wallet, a couple keys, and some lip gloss without compromising your sleek profile.

With a pair of kitten heels or ballet flats, bar hop to your heart's delight. With a pair of puffy house slippers, you're chillaxin in style.

This is a MUST HAVE cardigan.

So cool my mum wants a pair

Anon Burnout Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 November 30, 2010

Picked these puppies up in the jade green fade. Opened the box and couldn't believe how big the lenses are. But...I have a small face. For all the ladies out there considering these, GET THEM. They are big, but they are shaped just right, and don't completely cover your face. I rock 'em when I'm on my green fixie, and heads turn right and left. They fit nice and snug so they won't slide down your nose at a stop light..Lenses are 2.1" tall and 2.5" wide from outside of frame to outside of frame. Big, but rad.Bottom Line: These are so cool my mum wants them for her full time 'scrip eyewear.

Jackie O for Gen X

Anon Playdate Sunglasses

Anon Playdate Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 4 November 30, 2010

When you're looking for a bit of bling, but don't want diamonds on your face, reach for these. I got these in the tortoise for a slightly more versatile every day super model look. The touch of gold on the hinges gives these babies a dressed up appeal, while the tortoise can be worn with just about anything from your fav tshirt and jeans to your slinky little black dress. The only drawback is that if you smile too big, your cheeks will touch the bottom of the lenses. They are large frames for a small face.

But big is in, so go for it!

Rock out with your gogs out

Smith Fuse Regulator Series Goggles - Mirror Lens

Rating for this product: 5 October 12, 2010

These goggles are tops. For girls with small/medium heads, and small features, these babies will hug your face like your ballet warmers hug your legs. The price can't be beat, and they look great too! With the interchangeable lense, you really can't go wrong.

Only real down side is that they're not so great with multi-sport helmets like the Bern Berkley. While the Berkley comes equipped with a goggle clip, I find the Fuse lense shape is quite restricting and hits the sides of the helmet. This of course, causes a slight discomfort on the bridge of your nose.

All in all...out of all my gogs, I reach for these the most. Hell, I wear them at home when I'm just wishin' for snow...
