The XL is extremely large so you know. Being 6 foot the medium still fits well.

DC Sega Slim Pant - Men's

February 2, 2011

These pants are more of a flat black than the indigo from previously. The ones still on sale here at dogfunk are not the denim but are the normal black. The picture shows them as looking brownish, but thats just from the yellow light from taking the pictures.

Perfect Fit

Airblaster Javier Jacket - Men's

Airblaster Javier Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 2, 2011

This jacket is absolutely awesome. I'm 5'9", 155 lbs and I ordered a large and it fits perfect. The jacket is a little slimmer fitting and looks awesome whether you have layers underneath it or not, and it is long enough that it reaches down past the mid waist over the pant line. It has great waterproofing and wind resistance but is kind of thin and definitely needs some underlayers. Airblaster has definitely stepped up its game in quality and steez

K2 Snowboards WWW Rocker Snowboard

December 30, 2010

Its more about preference than anything. You should probably try out someone else's board to see how you like riding a smaller board because a jump from a 160 to a 153w might be a bit drastic since it is much more difficult to stay stable on a 153. It also depends on the board: A more flexible board like the weapon above can handle a larger weight on a smaller board whereas a stiffer board of the same size will not be able to handle as much weight. If I were to give a recommendation it would probably be the 156w based on your prior riding experience and size/weight.

Capita Horrorscope FK Snowboard - Wide

December 30, 2010

You shouldn't get any toe drag on a 155w since it is a wide board and is designed for the largest stock sized bindings/boots. There is always going to be a little bit of toe hanging off any board but as long as they aren't custom large bindings or boots you should be fine with a 155w.

Matix Asher Kingston Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 30, 2010

Just grabbed this hoody off whiskey and I was surprised how thick it was when it came in. The chest area and hood have a nice wind-breaker lining, but the sleeves dont have this lining however and have a nice soft inside. Its a great jacket for the price and is definitely warmer than a normal hoody, but not as warm as a full on jacket.

Super Comfort and Flex

Ride Deuce Snowboard Boot - Men's

Ride Deuce Snowboard Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 30, 2010

These boots are incredibly comfortable; the second I put my feet in they fit perfect and need almost no breaking in. They are wide boots and are especially comfortable compared to any burton boots which are geared towards narrower feet. They are extremely flexible and awesome to walk around in. The only issue I have found with them is that when placing them in a stiff aluminum binding it does not provide as much ankle support as desired. Otherwise its an incredible boot.

Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard

December 6, 2010

you would probably be looking for a normal width board because with only a size 10 boots, you might have trouble carving since the boots wouldnt reach all the way across a wide board. But I would not go any shorter than 151cm since you are about 6'1", and too small of a board will cause you to lose stability

Lib Technologies Skate Banana BTX Snowboard - Assorted Bananas

December 6, 2010

Unless he only rides freestyle, I wouldn't recommend this board in particular since it is difficult to freeride on larger slopes because of its flex. It is extremely flexible and takes a lot of getting used to, especially if he does not have a lot of riding experience. If he has a size 13 shoe I would recommend he DOES get a wide board, otherwise his boots/bindings will be hanging over the edge. A 161W would be fine for him in a freeride board and he could even step down to something like a 156W, 157W, or 159W depending on the board. The more flexible the board, the more amount it can take before breaking, and therefore the more flexible the board, the smaller of a size he can get. Depending on his abilities, a versatile board would probably be a better choice versus this all freestyle board.

Classy but a Bit Awkward

Emerica Romero 2 Skate Shoe - Men's

Emerica Romero 2 Skate Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 6, 2010

I love the way these shoes look; they are like combination of the wino and the laced. With that said, I feel like emerica could have stepped up their game a bit on the construction. The heel is not very supported and is hard to get on without completely untying and retying the shoe entirely. They wear quite fast, which is expected for single layer toe-cap, but do have good feel. They are quite a cool shoe, but not too much of an improvement over the wino or laced in terms of comfort or skating ability.

Nothing Better

Emerica Hsu Skate Mid Shoe - Men's

Emerica Hsu Skate Mid Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 6, 2010

This is the only pair of shoes I skate; I refuse to skate anything else because not only is the feel amazing on these shoes, but its a good blend of support, feel, durability, and weight. I have skated most brands and almost all emericas, but these last above average because of the double stitched toe-cap but still had the close feel because they are slim fitting to the foot and comfortable. Last about 2-3 months of daily skating which is pretty good, at least in my experience (i've had lakai's and es's last for less than a month and fallens for almost 4 months). They also have a decently thick sole, even though it wears through pretty quick. Overall, best combination of shoe there is to offer without sacrificing at least one attribute.

Disposable, Comfortable and Buttery

Skullcandy Icon 2 Headphones

Skullcandy Icon 2 Headphones

Rating for this product: 4 November 30, 2010

For 25 bucks you can't really go wrong with the Icon 2's. I own several icon 2's as well as a handful of icon's and both are great for riding and fit well over a beanie. The Icon 2's, however, have a rubber band underneath the top section of the headphone, which helps them stay on, compared to the icon 1's. I wear them everyday walking to class and such and they are a little tough to keep on your head unless you have a beanie or goggles to hold them on. They're also tough to keep on if you're wearing a fitted. Otherwise, theyre the sexiest looking headphones ever and some of the most durable. They also sound pretty decent for 25 bucks and get real loud, definitely enough to go through at least a hood and a beanie.

Nixon Manual Watch - Men's

the face on this watch is pretty small and blends in with the band coming around, if that's what you're looking for. It's not incredibly flashy but still looks classy.

Great Watch, Small

Nixon Manual Watch - Men's

Nixon Manual Watch - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 30, 2010

I've owned 4 nixon watches and I had this one for the longest. The band and face are quite durable but the issue i ran into was that the pins were not made very well. I'm not sure if Nixon makes all of their pins the same but I've never broken a pin in any of my other watches, which I've had for about 6-12 months each, and I broke/lost 3 pins within the 1.5 years of having this watch. It's not a big deal since Nixon gives you extra pins and you can get more from them. Otherwise, this watch is awesome, a little on the smaller side, but still really cool looking.

Nixon District Watch - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 30, 2010

I have the district in gunmetal and it is absolutely awesome looking. The metal is a tad darker than in the image shown above, probably because of the lighting, but it looks amazing. Really easy to tell time on and the band is really durable.

Awesome Looking Watch

Nixon Spencer Watch - Men's

Nixon Spencer Watch - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 30, 2010

This watch is so baller looking, I can guarantee you will get compliments all of the time on it. The digital clock in the bottom left rectangle is convenient, especially at night since there is an indiglo button to light it up. The only issues I've had with the watch is that the glass sticks out so far it is easy to scratch or knock against things, in which the digital clock and alarm normally reset. It has a large face but is not ridiculous and is definitely wearable even for someone with a smaller wrist like mine, it looks so bling.
