They seem to run big

Salomon F22 Snowboard Boot - Women's

Salomon F22 Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 January 9, 2012

I have an old pair of Salomon F22s that I have boarded in for years. I LOVE them. I got this new pair in the same size but they're too big and they give me blisters on my heels. I guess models change from year to year. Note also that although the dogfunk site says they have a removable liner they don't. It's sewn in. I am not sure why it says they're removable. I have never been able to get them out.

Way too stiff

Vans Kira Snowboard Boot - Women's

Vans Kira Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 March 14, 2011

These boots fit my narrow feet pretty well but they are SO STIFF that I found them impossible. The other thing of note is this. They have very little traction and caused me to fall several times while walking around. I felt like I had ski boots on they were so slippery. I guess I am back on the hunt for the perfect boot.

Vans Kira Snowboard Boot - Women's

Vans Kira Snowboard Boot - Women's

These boots fit my very narrow feet. I can say this though .. if these are 5 on a stiffness scale of 1-10 where 10 is the stiffest.. then 10 is like having a cast on your ankle. These boots are VERY VERY stiff. Did I mention they are stiff?

Not so narrow

Ride Sash Boa Coiler Snowboard Boot - Women's

Ride Sash Boa Coiler Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 February 16, 2011

The dogfunk site said that Ride boots were good for narrow feet. I got these boots today and they are NOT narrow. They were the right length but my foot barely touched the sides. No matter how tight I tightened them my food sloshed around in there. I am very disappointed.

This board rocks

Rome Notch 1985 Snowboard

Rome Notch 1985 Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 March 2, 2009

I got the Rome Notch 1985 a month or so ago. We didn't have any powder so I rode it on the groomers and hard stuff. The reverse camber is really great. It takes a little getting used to but I like it. It's like a rocket. It just goes and goes. It handles really well on the harder stuff but I just got to ride it in powder the past week or so. OMG it rocks! It floats like crazy and it handles really well. The other great thing is that due to the centered stance it even does well switch in powder.

I demo'd some other powder boards and I really didn't like the super directional nature of them. They were super hard to ride on anything that wasn't soft. They were impossible to ride switch. This board is great all around and best in powder. Since I can't change boards mid-mountain I love how versatile this board is. Most powder boards are designed for guys and are simply too big for us gals...

I have to say though that this board is on the edge of allowing me a narrow enough stance. It works though and I don't have any problems with my set up at this time.
