The Dark Series is on the stiffer side, especially compared to the Skate Banana. It does have more pop and stability

go with the 158W. The 155W is only 25.1 CM at the waist. You will have a lot of toe drag

i'd be surprised to see a c2 skate banana. I would like it as well but this is their bread in butter, the board that changed snowboarding. I wouldn't expect them to change it. The TRS is a sick park board with c2 if thats what you're looking for

if you do a little bit of everything, forces are the binding for you

Union Forces

T Rice for sure. Just Look at what Travis Rice does on it. Its amazing on jumps, tons of pop and stable on the landings

The TRS would work well for you. You definitely want C2. It gives you all the stability and pop of camber while riding a rockered board. Its stable while bombing the steeps and while stomping huge landings in the park. Plus it has magnatraction which goes through ice like butter

stick with the 151

Forces for sure. Lightweight and super durable

I hit my fair share of trees and rocks last year with my T Rice and it took the abuse well. GNU's are made in the same factory as lib tech... they don't have the 3 year warranty of Never Summer but if you get your board from dogfunk you won't have any issues getting a replacement if anything should happen, their customer service is great

the evo is soft but its not really a noodle because of camber/rocker, but it kind of depends on what you want. The evo can do a lot, if you ride mainly park with the occasional trip to other parts of the mountain, get the evo. If you're an all mountain rider than the SL would be the better choice

definitely contacts if you're into park, ligher, stronger, and more durable than 390's

No question... forces. Lighter and stronger than the targas. Forces are 50 dollars cheaper and a higher quality binding

Union's are the lightest and strongest you're gonna find. Forces are a great all around binding

super light, lightest bindings on the planet

flow bindings are junk, break easily, can be very uncomfortable and are not as responsive as other bindings. If you're looking for something durable, light, and responsive then go with union forces or datas. If you're a union hater, Rome Targas are another option, but I haven't found them to be as durable or light as union

Flows easy to get in and out of thing is overblown, if you know what you're doing you can get your strap in bindings on just as fast as any pair of flows

DC makes good boots, comfort wise it kind of varies person to person because your feet are different from mine. I have used DC boots for years and never had any durability issues, for me they are the most comfortable out there, but again that could be different for you. I recommend them, if you end up getting them and don't find them comfortable you can always exchange them, dogfunk is good about keeping its customers happy

if you're looking for a good park board for an advanced rider I recommend the GNU B Street, GNU B Pro or Never Summer Pandora.

you should be ok, make sure your bindings are properly centered and you shouldn't get much if any toe drag

boots are all about finding ones that are comfortable for you and what you like. What works for me may not work for you so its always best to try them on first. DC and Thirty Two also make good boots if you want other options

they ship out random, there isn't one set color for each size

the problem with rockered boards is they tend to not be as stable at high speeds and on big landings. Both boards would work ok for all mountain riding, and the trs has magnatraction which is nice especially on ice, even if you don't ride the ice coast magnatraction is still good because it gives you a lot more control of the board

If you want a rockered board thats stable at speeds and landings, you need one with camber/rocker. Lib Tech calls it C2 BTX and its in the T Rice, Dark Series and the upcoming version of the TRS. all three would be good all mountain boards.

Never Summer has camber rocker as well in their boards, just without magnatraction. for all mountain riding the Never Summer SL-R would be the best choice

It sounds like you need a board soon but if you can wait for the new stuff to come out to get a new trs it will have C2 BTX

between these two i'd go with the trs because it is a little bit stiffer, however if you have a little extra cash the upcoming version of the trs or travis rice will be a better option, because they have c2 power banana which is a lot more stable for free riding, and the magnatraction makes it good for aggressive carving. If you don't do any park at all you should probably stay away from the skate banana as its more of a park oriented board. Its advertised as a board that can ride the whole mountain but a board with C2 BTX is much better for an all mountain/free ride board

late summer/early fall new stuff usually starts coming out

go with union forces, they are great all around bindings. and union bindings are bombproof and the lightest out there. If you buy these, don't be surprised when you are replacing parts in them

i wouldn't expect too much being from a ski company. go for a lib tech or gnu and you'll find the ride far superior

sorry for the late response.... i recommend DC Boots if they are comfortable for you. DC Boots are really low profile and should fit into the bindings. Try them on first to see if they are comfortable but if you like them. get em, you won't be dissapointed. Vans are big and bulky

if you don't have an ics board get the regular burton bindings, if you have a non burton board get unions, they are a lot better than burton, more durable and lighter plus they are not overpriced

Lib Tech T Rice with c2 power banana, the best all mountain board out there. Its stable with camber at the tip and tail and magnatraction gives you amazing edge hold in any condition. once you get on one you won't go back

Flow bindings are junk... they break easy, are not as comfortable and are not as light as unions. If you want a good pair of park bindings get union contacs. They are totally bombproof and are the lightest out there

the artifact 1985 is the rockered version

the 151 is a narrow board, you don't want that... get the 152 is a good size for all around riding and will last you a few seasons.. i don't think you'll specifically be able to order red and yellow since they ship out random

union forces... all union bindings are bombproof, and they are the lightest out there

if you get the bindings in the right size (see sizing chart) then you will be able to adjust the strap to fit your toe

flow is not known for being the best for durability with some of their bindings... the whole easy to get on thing is overrated with these, you don't save that much time vs traditional bindings and good riders can put bindings on standing up. You will be much happier getting a pair of union bindings... forces for all mountain or contacts for park only. Union bindings are totally bombproof, are built to last and are the lightest out there. Other bindings simply aren't up to the same standards as union.

the t rice is a sick board, you can do whatever you want with it, if you like going fast you need c2 btx otherwise you will get chatter, you also get a lot more pop in the park as well as more stability on landings. If you want an all mountain board you need a t rice. Its not as flexy as a skate banana but its not as stiff as a steel beam either. if you want a board that can dominate the whole mountain get the t rice

you will need burton bindings... est bindings will fit no problem supposedly the normal 3 hole burton bindings will work with a plate burton sends you. You don't want flow bindings anyway, they are junk

although you probably won't be able to find it at this point in the season, the lib tech T Rice is a better board, it will outride the custom anywhere on the mountain. C2 BTX in the T rice is a much better rocker design than v rocker for an all mountain board... it is more stable and gives you more pop plus theres magnatraction which cuts through any snow like butter

ride whats left of the season on what you got and pick up a t rice next summer, you will be glad you did then after riding the t rice for a little while find somebody you know with a custom have them let you borrow it for a little bit and ride it, you will see how much better the t rice is after 1 run on the custom

one more thing that the t rice gives you is the freedom of using whatever bindings you want, and the best bindings out there are not made by burton. Union forces or any union binding are bombproof and lighter than anything else

the Lib Tech T Rice would be much better for you for going fast... c2 btx is really stable

putting burton bindings on a lib tech board should be a crime... go with union datas or contacts... they are lighter than anything else and are totally bombproof

they don't... don't let it deter you from buying their boards tho because they are sick, and you are supporting a non sellout company that makes their gear in the usa

156 for a park board or 159 if you do all mountain riding. Its advertised as an all mountain board but its more of a park board and tends to get chattery at high speeds and can be a noodle on bigger park features, if you want something thats stable at high speeds you need c2 btx which is in the t rice and the dark series

you could probably pick up a pair of unions for the same or not much more than these and they will last you forever. These things look like cheap plastic that will not last

rome 390's have some crazy designs, but if you want bindings that actually last go with union contacts or forces, romes are like cinderblocks compared to union

you'd be better off with a T Rice or Dark Series, both are all mountain boards and have camber at the tip and tail for high speed stability... although its a sick board the skate banana is more of a park board

the skate banana is more of a park board, you'd probably be better off with a T Rice C2 BTX or Dark Series C2 BTX or a Never Summer SL-R all three have the same camber/rocker design for high speed stability and more pop in the park, honestly your better off with lib.. magnatraction is amazing, carving with it is like cutting through butter and you always get edge hold no matter what the snow conditions are... you'd be better off with a 156

the skate banana is one option but it can be chattery when your going mach 1... Never Summer EVO is a good option the camber at the tip and tail gives you stability in the park and when your going fast

Rome used to have great bindings but it seems at least with the ones i've used lately that they are not that good... These bindings are heavy cinder blocks and their durability is not as good as it should be for the cost, my last pair lasted me 2 weeks and i finally ditched them because i got sick of the buckles breaking. These bindings are all looks if your looking for something thats bombproof go with union, union forces are good as an all around binding and the contacts are good for park only riding, both are much lighter than romes and all union's bindings are bombproof

Dogfunk is great about helping you out if your gear breaks but its still a pain in the a-- when your gear breaks on the mountain and your day is ruined. Trust me, if you want reliable, bombproof bindings get union, you won't be dissapointed

you need a good board, bindings can be a pain in the a__ when they break or because they are heavy or not comfortable but a junk board will hold you back and not allow you to progress.

if they are comfortable then yes they are worth it.. but you should check out some other boots before you buy these because you will probably find cheaper ones that are just as comfortable. You may even find that this boot kills your feet because everybodys feet are different, whats great for me may be painful for you

Large... if you have the cash you should go for the cartels these bindings aren't that good

if you are really set on this board you might be able to manage with properly centered bindings and a ducked out stance but to be safe you should look into a wide board

If you have to get burtons because of your burton board i would go with the cartels, everybody i know that rides them loves them. But if you have a board that isn't burton and have the freedom of using whatever bindings you want... go with Union, they are the lightest and most durable bindings you will ever own. Union forces would be good for all mountain riding and the contacts would be good for park only riding

the board will not be too advanced for you... you just won't notice all the tech that the board has to offer. It would actually be wise to buy a board like this being a beginner because it will work for you now as well as you progress vs buying a junk beginner deck that will need to be replaced as you progress

yes they will... you might want to try union forces or contacts you will find them to be a lot lighter and more durable

what if you need a 145 or 148 which is out of stock on sierrasnowboard?? dogfunk has been great to me so i think i'll continue shopping here

156 would be a better size for you if your looking for a park specific board whereas 159 would be more for all mountain. The skate banana is a sick board for the park, i definitely recommend it, if you want something cheaper don't go with burton there are many other options such as the rome artifact, ride kink, capita stairmaster, signal park rocker all are from non sell out companies and you also have the freedom of using any bindings you want, but if you got the cash go with the banana for sure

156 is the size for you for a park board... with your boot size you may also want to consider a wide. The skate banana is a great park board that will be there for you as you try to progress in the park

yeah you only get into a problem with burton boards rides will go on rome no problem

actually you should get the 147... this is not a board you want to be racing on its designed as a park board, it says all mountain but you will not like the way it feels when your going fast

159 is way too big for you that could be part of the problem... you should be down around 151 for a park board

Never Summer Infinity their camber/rocker design gives you stability at high speed and more pop in the park plus never summer boards are hand pressed in the USA and come with a 3 year warranty

GNU B Pro C2 BTX would be another good one... same camber/rocker design as never summer

no insulation, not very good waterproofing either... you should get at least 10K the best thing to get would be a pair of gore tex pants then you never have to worry about getting wet which makes a huge difference in keeping you warm

they will work, if you end up going with new bindings pick up a pair of unions, you cant beat their durability and performance

Lib Tech Skate Banana or GNU Park Pickle would be good in the park and pow.

lib has some of the best boards out there in terms of design, performance and they are hand pressed in the USA, if you like park and pow this is a great board for you, if you are more into all mountain riding you should go with the T Rice or Dark Series

yeah contacts are sick park specific bindings, if you do a lot of non park stuff forces will be better, either way unions are sick, probably the lightest and most durable of any binding out there

the T Rice does it all, pow, b lines, park and anything else you might throw at it

if you get the T Rice for park you need C2 BTX you get a lot more pop and stability, although at this point of the year that board is next to impossible to find. the 153 is a better size for a park board but before you settle for this try to find the c2 btx version

the 151 is good for a park board

152 is a better size for you for freestyle

they are way more comfortable than flows, I used to use 390's and i rode all day without pain, when you have them strapped in you don't even feel them yet they are extremely responsive, definitely better than flow

you will be ok with size 9's

its great in the pow, the 156 would work for you although if you don't do a lot of park riding you should consider the T Rice and the Dark Series, they have C2 BTX which is also great in pow but has added stability for freeriding and going fast

it can get sketchy on some of the larger ones, the T Rice would be better for hitting the huge stuff

not do big for a park board if thats what you plan to do with it, if you want it for all mountain you may want to go a little bigger

i've loved rocker since the first day although some people still prefer camber. The skate banana is a sick park board and great in the pow however if your looking for a board that can ride the whole mountain you need a T Rice, Dark Series or the never summer SL-R and yes 156 would be good for all mountain for you but the 152 would be better for a park specific board

Different riders have different preferences on flex, you want the boots to be comfortable and fit properly, thats the most important thing, if you tried them on and liked the way they felt they are good for you
