Damn good bindings but they take time and patience to set up.

Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Binding

Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 4 February 5, 2013

So I got these bindings a few weeks ago and been out a few times on em so I thought I'd drop my review. At first I thought these bindings were a disaster, had a horrible first day out on em. I nearly came home and ripped em off my board. But I didn't want to give up so easily. Do yourself a favor if you decide to go for these bindings, take time to set them up properly and read EVERYTHING about them that comes in the box. After a little time spent adjusting and tweaking these my next day out was awesome. I absolutely love these bindings but you gotta put in time setting them up to see their true potential. Has to be one of the most comfortable bindings I ever rode, the base plate padding along with the canting make these a real knee saver. The ankle strap is the most comfortable I've ridden, the toe strap a just as good, you can really crank em down with no pitch or pressure points. The ratchets are one of the smoothest I've used even in freezing cold and fresh powder they never came close to jamming. Pretty damn light too considering all the adjustment options on these also.

In all great all around binding if you like either park or just all over the mountain all day. I give em four stars, I subtracted one due to the length of time it takes to set them up. But if you're willing to give them a serious chance you'll find out these have to be one of the best bindings on the market out there.

Analog Greed Jacket - Men's

January 31, 2013

Looking for a warm jacket that has that street style for mainly just riding park. Was wondering how warm this jacket is? I get cold very easy and layer up a lot under my gore tex shell. Also what is the fit like, loose or slim, since I will be wearing layers on the cold ass east coast park days. Any help would be great, thanks.

Rome 390 Boss Snowboard Binding

January 1, 2013

Sizing question

I have a 9.5 boot size and ride a 155 Agent and I'm looking to get these for my board. The problem I have is which is the best size for me since it seems the S/M and L/XL both fit a 9.5 boot. I'm trying to make the best decision for my board and its width so they don't overhang but fit my boots the best they can. I ride the 32 Boa Boots so anyone out there have some advice for me so I can avoid a return and then find out the bindings are out if stick in the color I want. Thanks.

Nothing compares to a Banana on the East Coast

Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard

Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 January 23, 2011

Got this board last season and it's still ripping it up. Here on the East Coast, bulletproof hard-pack is a normal day. The edges on this board can let you ride everywhere. Feels like they are super sharp when you need em to be and not so sharp and grabby when you don't. Has to be the best of both worlds. The rocker camber and twin shape is perfect and let's you ride where you want in any conditions you want. Has to be one of he best boards I've ridden. Used to be a guy that rode both Rome and Burton but after riding his deck for a season now I hate to say both my Rome and Burton are collecting dust. If you want a good flexing twin board that can ride anything from pow to icy days the Skate Banana is the way to go. I only worry about the durability of it because all I do is ride this one deck and it's starting to take a beating between the park and all day all mountain riding. I set it up with a pair of Union Forces and have to say the setup is dead on. Union and Lib-Tech make a great combo thus far.

Union Flite Binding

December 26, 2010

Been eyeing these binders for quite awhile but I have to ask are these also built on the contact baseplates. They look similar but not quite the same. I currently ride Union Forces but looking for a better flexing binder that would work well with my Lib-Tech Skate Bannana. Any help would be great looking at the black and golds, they look sick. Thanks.

Lib Technologies Skate Banana Original BTX Snowboard

March 9, 2010

Interested in this board for awhile but just have to ask. Does this board have recessed edges or no metal edges like a dom slick or street dweller? Need to know before I buy. Looking for a good freestyle board that can handle the entire mountain. Or should I look into the trs?

Rome 390 Snowboard Binding

January 27, 2010

I have a pair of last years 390's and love em. But as of late the right binding's ankle strap has packed out near the binding buckle. It has created a pinch point as of late and become irritating. Not trashing the binders and I still ride em and love em, but wondering if anyone else has had any problems like that. Not sure if I should contact Rome due to I would say it's wear and tear. Thanks in advance...

686 Smarty Original Cargo Pant - Men's

January 17, 2010

Absolutely not! I've only rode 686 for years be it west coast and east coast and have had no troubles with these pants. I've got a pair that are 4 years old with out a tear and that even goes for the cuffs. You won't be sorry with these but almost any snowboard pants or jackets will rip or tear crashing into the trees.
