Special Blend Utility Shell Jacket - Men's

This is a shell. It will keep you dry. To be warm, get a good waterproof jacket like this one, then get good first layer. Don't layer with hoodies or sweaters. Thick base layer for really cold days, and then light first layer for normal days. First layer is your friend. What is your inseam size? Or inseam sizing for small is 30.5" (77cm) and for XS it is 29.5" (75cm). if you fit the inseam of a XS you could run them. But I think it is safe to say you are going to grow and the small would most likely be the better choice.

Foursquare Hearn Insulated Jacket - Women's

Foursquare Hearn Insulated Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 12, 2009

One of the warmest jackets Foursquare makes. It is a tad bit longer of a fitting jacket. The back up bandana is a lifesaver when the winds are kicking up. My favorite aspect of the jacket are the "hot pocket Gaiter" a lycra gaiter (to stop snow from creeping in) with a pocket for a hand warmer to fit in.

Foursquare Vern Insulated Jacket - Women's

The top of the line jacket. My wife hates being cold, with this she has never been cold again. The liner is heated! Flip the switch and await the warmth. No more cold rides on the lift. Just pleasing warmth at all times. The pit zips allow you to cool down in an instant if you get to hot. Great jacket.

Foursquare First Layer Top - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 12, 2009

First layer is the way to go. Cotton is the worst, it is not good for snowboarding. Cotton makes you sweat then you get cold because you are covered in moisture. This fist layer takes away that nasty moisture and keeps you warm and dry. There is not need to get crazy layered up, Just this and a Jacket.

Predicability

Forum Youngblood Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 November 12, 2009

The Youngblood is a great predictable park/street board. A true twin with a predicable flex time and time again. The "swinger's Club" means that the tip and the tail have been machine cored to help keep your tips up in powder and stop you from over rotating. The FGel that is injected into the sidewall that is visible so you know its there, giving you that little extra cushion in hard landings.

Forum Destroyer Chillydog Snowboard

To be honest i do not know to much about the K2 deck. The destroyer on the other hand is awesome for a few reasons. The flex holds for well over 100 days. You get the same pop and snap season after season. Same consistent pop equals predictability that in-turn equals constant fun! The core of the Destroyer is made totally out of poplar wood and also has Brain-Belt-Tech. This is where we have about 2 inches of 45 degree angled sections of the core going from center to contact points that gives strength(10X) and durability. Check out the pic to get a better idea of what i'm talking about. I love this deck.

Foursquare Chrissy Jacket - Women's

November 5, 2009

This jacket is just a Shell. It's purpose is to keep you dry. If you are trying to save money, you could look the on sale Amy or Hearn Jacket from Foursquare. Or you can wear thick first layer. First layer should always be worn instead of normal street wear anyway. The Amy and Hearn are insulated, this means they are thicker than shell jackets, designed to keep you nice and toasty.

From the tip of my middle finger to the bottom of my waist is 7 inches. I wear a Large. If the glove is too small you'll blow the seams out pretty fast.

They are a shell pant. At 15K they will keep you dry, but on cold days, make sure you have base layer on. This will keep you warm and super comfortable.

Definitely a medium is too small. Large would fit, XL would be Baggy. But the Large would be a great fit, unless you have sumer long arms. If so, go with the XL

How long are your arms. I'm 6' and i wear a Large. If you have longer arms, go with the XL. When it comes to jackets I care the most about the Length of the arms. I can't stand having my wrists show if I stretch my arms out. This also is a problem when you fall in powder, it allows for more snow to get up you selves. Think about the XL.

It is not too soft. I would go with the 158, but you could get away with the 156. This board really kills it. Great shape and great flex, and awesome feel with the chillydog.

They are average in weight, and not crazy stiff. They are 7/10 on the stiffness scale but you laterally there is a fair amount of give, great binding. If you are looking for a softer binding the Faction would be perfect.

Forum Image Snowboard - Wide

November 5, 2009

When choosing a board you focus more on your weight than on your height. For example I'm 6' even and weigh about 165-170 lbs. I ride a 154cm board for my daily rider. If you just starting out, this board is great for learning. Super mellow side-cut, and really soft. I'm assuming you have bigger feet because you are 6'3", the 158cm Wide or the 161 Wide would work. Both of these board are for riders over 210 lbs.

Forum Youngblood Chillydog Snowboard

November 5, 2009

In 2008 the cartel was not made with EST. So yes, your Cartels will work perfectly with the Youngblood if you still have the four hole disc pattern. I know they came with two discs in the box if you purchased them new. If you do not have the burton multi disk then go to your local shop and pick up a pair. It should run you about $10 for the pair. Check out the pic to get an idea of the disk i'm talking about.
