Von Zipper Lumberjack Hooded Flannel - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 13 hours ago

MAN I LOVE THIS THING!!! I was sitting outside waiting for a bus at 11 pm with shorts on and just a t-shirt under this. I sat there content for 20 min fogging up the shelter glass making faces and other lame things.
When i finally got on the bus we past a bank sign that flashed the tempurature. "4*F". "HOLY ****" I thought. I just sat outside for 20 min in a t-shirt and this and didn't even notice it was cold out.
Bottom line: THIS THING WILL KEEP YOU WARM!!! Well worth the money, and it is also pretty stylish if I do say so my self, Lots of complement from co-workers.
(It is a bit short for a 6"4 kid but what isnt?)

"A MODERN STYLED CYLINDRICAL GOGGLE THAT FITS MOST FACES." SPYOPTIC.com
That means that the peripheral on these is average with other goggles because cylindrical is kind of the industry standard for all goggles (least in the past).
If your looking for more peripheral, like you can't even see the goggles you are wearing, I would suggest looking for Spherical Lenses, ELECTRIC EG1s or EG2, and from spy APOLLO, SOLDIER, BIAS. I acctually haven't riden with Spy's since I was a little grom, SO hopefully i gearhead will stop by here and give you more help.
Till then, Hope this helps.

"Iphones have a 3.5 mm TRRS connector for the headphones located on the top left corner of the device.[52] The headphone socket on the original iPhone is recessed into the casing, making it incompatible with most headsets without the use of an adapter." Wiki.
The input for this headphone is 3.5mm gold-plated plug, which means, no. Sorry but the O. Iphone will not work with these headphones.
Its hard to find headphones that Apple doesn't make that companies still make to work with the O. Iphone. My suggestions I can give are"
To upgrade your phone when you can and then finding proper headphones won't be a problem.
OR
"There are options like the Belkin Headphone Adapter for iPhone (US$10.95) which allow you to use any standard headphones with a 3.5mm plug with iPhone, but they don’t have the aforementioned microphone option." Jason D. O'Grady

Von Zipper Dojo Goggle

These will definitly fit a big head (I should know, I have a giant head).
And it should fit over (if you in fact do ride with) your helmet, unless it is so big it doubles your head, in that case i suggest buying a new helmet.
But YES, these will fit a bigger head
PS, these have the elastic plastic (i dunno what it is called)on the strap which makes it a great for keep them in place once you get them on your head but a GIANT PAIN to adjust the size on the go. So make sure you adjust it inside when you have time, cause it is a pain when your hands are freezing outside and your trying to adjust it from beanie size to helmet size but you just can't seem to do it CAUSE ITS JUST SO DAMN COLD.

I dont work for DF, but they used to have them in stock (and on this page) and sense they arent there anymore, they are sold out for the moment. I am sure when a gearhead comes by this question and answers it, they will give a day that they are restocking it.

Another way you can check on your own is if you click "Add to cart" and the size and color you want, then in the cart it will say how much quantity they have left in stock.

OK both those dudes are LIEING. LET THE RECORD SHOW FOR THE LAST AND FINAL TIME.

!!!THESE ARE KIDS GLOVES!!!

I have asked 3 different gear heads and they asure me that the sizing is correct and that these are in fact kids gloves and should not be in the adult section. So if you think differently, ask one of them or buy them and give a picture of how large your hand is and how large the mitten is.
SO yes, these are for kids and are kids mittens. So Shush!

Electric EG2 Lens

Notta one. Sorry amigo. These don't even come close to fire lenses. As sick as electric is, I would suggest a different brand if your are looking for goggles with replacment lenses that come in fire. Oakley obviously, but VZ does a good job too. If you are looking for that mirror effect, none of these do that either. BUT if you have to get one that looks like it, Yello/silver chrome, imho, is the the closest in a race it doesn't even qualify for. Seriously

Electric EGK Goggle

This goggle was made for you! I have a giant head/face and know for a fact... these don't fit me ='( Why do all the cool frames have to be for smaller faces? I suggest these for smaller faces and for looking steeze on the mountain. If you are looking for a frame with more prefireal (cant spell sorry) But will have a bigger frame, anything with a "s" at the end of it means its spherical.
In the end those these are great for you! Hope you rock them well!
(As always recommended though, goggles are expensive, important, equipment. I would go check out a local snowboard shop and try on different type and different brands to make sure you absolutly love what you are buying. "If you buy gear that gets you stoked, you'll be stoked to ride')

Spy Trevor Goggles

Bronze chrome or just bronze?
Either way those would be perfect for midday riding. Bronze lenses do suck around closing time cause the flight light is pretty bad (just a heads up) BUT What is one hour of discomfort compared to all day of looking good?
Bronze will let in more light then Bronze chrome but wont be reflective.
(I am sorry if i didnt make it clear. You can also go to (I couldnt find it on the Spyoptical.com site) )http://www.electricvisual.com/goggle-technical-information/
That is a great place to show what lense colors go great with what type of situation
It tells you about VLT (Visual Light transmittance) And gives all the right information about picking out the lense color your looking for
Hope that helps

Coal Frena Solid Beanie

November 12, 2009

yes it will. welll... Maybe it wont for you since there will be some bunching at the top. Im Not sure how big this beanie is on a small head, i personally have a gigantic head and it fit under my gigantic helmet... but since my head is so big, the beanie doesnt bunch at the top much, for a smaller head... I would try it (you can always return it if u buy it off dogfunk) But my gues.. Yes but it will either have bunching of the at the top between the helmet and the beanie, or the beanie will almost be pulled down over your eyes

I would personally look for a smaller beanie.

My friend rides these and tells me that you can email ride and they'll send you some new ones with proof of purchase. (least thats what he says)
But i am sure that your local snowboard shop carries extras and we'll replace them for free if they do. (The BC surf and sport, The Click, and Satallite havee alldone that for bindings for me that i didnt even buy there) the snowboard community is awesome when it comes to helping out.

K2 Cinch CTS Snowboard Binding

November 10, 2009

Nope. These bindings are stiffer and ment for all mountain casual riding. You want a binding with a softer flex that will help you get all buttery smooth to impress the strangers and snow bunnies that you will probably never see again =). (plus they are heavier which is no bueno in the parko)
Trying checking out the Flux Titan RK for a binding in the same price range.

These things are awesome! for looks though... not really warmth. Don't get me wrong that they are warm, but i would never trust them over a real mitten on a cold windy day in the backcountry. Grenade does run a little small and a XL barely fits my hand

Forum Body Bag One-Piece Baselayer - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 9, 2009

This thing is pretty awesome! IT is super warm and that is one of the reasons why i bought it. BUT it is alot heavier then i thought it would be. LOL also if you buy it look like batman (like i did) be prepared to be disappointed. I realized when i put this on that batman is way more ripped then me and looks alot better in it then i do.
Bought XL (6'4) fits great
Little loose around the mid section for a guy that is skinny (gangly) but not ripped (brings a tear to my eye to know that my "6 pack(lol i wish)" doesn't show through because it is to loose.)
the hood is super small and is more just for look then actually wearing too fyi
(or it could just be me. i have a Giant Head)

Never Summer Legacy-R Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 November 9, 2009

So far love this board. I have only riden park boards before and do notice how much stiffer it is. But this board is great for when you don't want to ride park all day and just want to stop by for a while. Great all around board from powder to park. It is definitely a general board though. If you are looking for a park board i would go with the Never summer revovler for you wider foot guys like me. You will notice the difference.
Those are the unions forces on the board btw

OneBallJay Cork Bus Stomp Pad

Rating for this product: 2 November 9, 2009

this one is all about the looks, this will not keep your foot still at all. I don't use stomp pads much though since i rarely one foot boxes or jumps. BUT when i do i like knowing that my foot won't slip off. This one will not do the trick. I suggest getting a different stomp pad if your looking for one that will make sure you look good doing your one footed 50-50 or madona during the landing instead of slipping off the board.

Great for all mountain

Union Force Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 November 9, 2009

I obviously have these in green, L/XL. They have been great for all mountain on my Never Summer legacy so far. And by all mountain I mean jibs and groomers since it is still so early in the season. I will write another review when i have riden them more but for now ill tell you what little info i can.
The straps are nice because they bend forwards and backwards, even in the cold, and don't look like they'll come close to breaking.
Light weight enough not even notice them compared to the weight of my legacy
They are stiffer so does kinda limit my buttery-ness on rails but i didnt but them for park so thats alright with me
Love the green on the blue and black, lots of compliments from friends
If you are looking for a all mountain binding, this is the one for you

May I suggest looking at Dakine beanies for fleece lining (In those pictures you can see the fleece and it says it under materials)

Burton Custom Snowboard Binding

November 5, 2009

That would look sick for sure!
And yes bindings are super important! crappy bindings make for a crappy day. If you are riding 40 or less days though these would be perfect for you in my opinion. But if you ride hard and often, it is worth the extra bucks to upgrade and get a binding that will last and take the punishment you dish out. I own burton triads and even though they are more expensive, they sucked.. tow strap fell off, screws (including base plates) came loose all the time and the metal that kept my binding at a lean tore through the plastic and is no permentally set on the no lean.
My point is that bindings are important and expensive isnt always better either.
In the end, If you are more of a casual rider these would be perfect for you. If you are a park junky, upgrade
(Read the other comment too. It is spot on)

Union Force Snowboard Binding

November 5, 2009

I have no idea if your asking for dudes or dudettes but... i am a dude i wear a size 12 and have the L/XL size and that is perfect for me. If your a dude i would go with the L/XL n o question. If your a girl I would try the M/L first cause you can costumize it like all bindings to have the toe strap longer. (But obviously i recommend going to your local snowboard shop first (bring a boot and ask for a M/L and a L/XL in the color you want and see which fits better)
This bindings has been doing well for the few days i have riden on it and strongly recommend it too.
Hope that helps

Nomis One-Piece Snow Suit - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 27, 2009

I bought this in a different style when they had it in (last pair XXL) When it got here i knew it was my new favorite onezi! But I am about 6'4 and thought that this would just look baggy one me... was way off. My ass looks HUGE and my stomache makes it look like i weigh 300 lbs (actually weigh 180). But man i love the pattern on this thing! Good number of pockets(Same pocket set up as theNomis Stacks Component Jacket) . And is fairly warm considering that it is just a shell. (only riden with once in 50*F with 1st layer shorts and longsleeve shirt and felt fine).
For 50% off? hellz ya! totally worth it. Just dont buy it a size up thinking it will look baggy... Cause you'll just end up with a huge ass! (I like to sing "I like big butts" when i wear it, makes most people laugh)

I don't usually wear the hood but when i do this hood acctuly stays on. And who doesn't love the pattern for this? The only tiny thing I dont like is that my cell phone seems to fall out of the pockets from time to time.BUT THE WORST PART!?!? Not Aggresive Listener Friendly

Skullcandy Holua Bud Headphones

Rating for this product: 3 October 27, 2009

I was looking for a quality earphone that could stand up to the ware and tear i put on my earphones. So I thought "$100? how can they suck?" I obviously found out. I was running with these one day enjoying the great sound quality these put out, i won't argue with that, when my finger caught the cord and pulled it out the jack. The left earbud went out. Loving the Life time warrenty I did replace them for free. (lasted 1 month) Got my second pair, 2 weeks in stepped on the cord and the sound is in and out on the left bud... I also dropped them once and the right bud broke and is now held together with tape. So if life happens to you to and you acctuly do more then just keep your earbuds in a glass jar and only take them out when your sitting still... these aren't for you.
Pros:
Best sounding earbuds I have ever owned
Life time Warranty (Riding the warranty sponsorship!)
The clicker thing (Man I love not having to reach into my pocket everytime trying to change the song)
Rubbers(3 shapes 2 different style (rubber and memory foam. one is bound to fit you)
Cons:
Not very deriable for an active life-style
Cord doesn't dangle very well and is a little short for a 6'4 kid that sags his pants
Price ($100 is alot and the sound quality probably isn't worth it if you arent listening to music for atleast 4-6 hours of your day where you can actualy notice the difference)
Another so-so product from Skullycandy >.>

Never Summer Legacy-R Snowboard

October 26, 2009

Is this the board for me?

I wear an 11-12 size shoe depending on the brand. Would I want a wide board like the legacy? Are there also other boards I should be looking at that are all mountain boards that are wide? I just moved to Steamboat so i would like A board that can handle beginner back country and intermidate park riding (can handle switch 540's and reg 720's off mid-sized jumps, butters on boxes and boardslides and presses on hand rails)Is this the board for me?

Oh and this isn't really a question about the snowboard but... if this is the board for me, what kind of bindings would be good to go along with it?

Thanks for the help

So I have one more question before I put $140 down on a new pair of goggles...I am buying these for couldy days and was wondering how well the smokey pink did compared to H.I. persimmon or blue iridium? I've never worn any of these colors before and I know that lense color is almost all opinionated but! in general which lenses work best for partly-cloudy/cloudy/snowy days? (It doesn't have to be those colors)
Thanks,
Kyle

Von Zipper Feenom Goggle w/ Bonus Lens

Oh, and I know I am not supposed to care about what other people think about me (least when your not trying to get a job)and I should just tell me friends to get over it... But honestly, who doesn't like being complimented on how good they look? "When you look good, you ride good." love that sayin.. and its tru, better you look, better self esteem, better confidence, better riding.

Von Zipper Feenom Goggle w/ Bonus Lens

October 23, 2009

I was just wondering...
Are the love in frames with the pink smoke a girls frame? Cause personally I think they look awesome but I really don't want to have that awkward conversation on the hill with random girls that say, (awsuming that the are tourists) "LIKE! OMG we have the same goggles! Aren't they just the cutests?" Then I would be thinking... "Man this is super awkward... why does this tourist/poser/newbie have the same frames as me?" Don't get me wrong, I don't h8 random tourist girls, I just don't want my friends baggin on me all day (yes they r that mean and shallow)
Oh and are the feenoms in general a super popular goggle? I see that everyone loves them but i don't want to buy a pair then find out everyone has the same thing. I wanted to buy VZ cause it seemed a little more low-key then Oakley, Smith, Dragon and so on. (obviously I'm super-ficial... I know the specs rock & i should care about that..but I can't help wanting to stand out too)
Thanks for the help
Kyle
