152 for sure it will fit you perfectly it will be nice and buttery for your jibbing and still be able to take it off smaller jump like 20- 40 feet, any bigger and it might get a little unstable and you could have trouble holding an edge on the bigger jumps... hope that helped

Well i think that you would have some over hang but if you really want this board you could make it work but you would need stance angles that are huge like 20 or bigger.... with a size 13 you should probably look more at the Wide or Mid Wide snowboards because you got to think a size 12 foot is approximately 30cm and the waist width is 26 cm so a 13 is even larger you would have some over hang..... I hope that Helped

Well its not terrible for riding switch and it is amazing for switch..... if you need examples of that just watch Shawn White ride in the pipe last year he was amazing and this was the exact model he was riding but if you want some thing that is the exact same riding switch and regular look for a board that is "True Twin" if the boards description has True Twin it will have no difference riding switch and Regular. This board also has a vary small set back so its flex patterns through out the board are set up to ride with the nose first but by no means does that mean you can't ride switch on it at all...... hope that helped

Technine MFM Classic Snowboard
February 23, 2011
well he sounds like a beginner so i would say stay away form Technine boards because on average they are more of a heavy board. If he isn't doing tricks i would say a 158or 157 would be a good starting point for a board but if he wants to get more in to park riding or ticks i would say a 156 or 155 would be your best bet. And as far as boards go i would recommend......
Ride DH
http://www.dogfunk.com/ride-dh-snowboard
its a little more advance for a first board but it is also one of the best boards out there
Ride Crush
http://www.dogfunk.com/ride-crush-snowboard
its a little softer and its a "rocker" style snowboard witch makes it a good beginning board because it will be soft and forgiving board
DC PBJ
http://www.dogfunk.com/dc-pbj-snowboard
This is the board i personally ride right now its great true twin and this year's is zero camber so it is also vary forgiving and fun to learn on.
Forum Youngblood Chili-dog
http://www.dogfunk.com/forum-youngblood-chillydog-snowboard
You also might want to consider going for a Wide snowboard because at a size 12 he's is right on the edge of needing a Wide board and if you get him started on a wide board it should then having him switch after he gets more experienced.
As far as bindings go i would highly recommend the......
Rome 390's
http://www.dogfunk.com/rome-390-snowboard-binding
or
Any thing "Union" brand if you can find the right size at this point in the season
or Ride Contrabands

Rome Machine Snowboard - Wide
February 21, 2011
well this is a good beginning board but i would also recommend the DC PBJ, Forum Youngblood, Lib-tech skatebanana, and the rome artifact would all be great boards for a beginner. And for someone your size and skill level i would say 159cm would probably be the best size and all of these boards are good more park oriented boards but for a beginner you are going to want a softer more forgiving board to learn with.... hope that helped

Hi Jakob if your looking for your first board i would go with a soft forgiving board. And a twin board might not even be a horrible idea well your trying to figure out wither your goofy or regular. I would look more at a park style board even if you don't plan to be in the park much because they will be easier for you to learn on and be a little easier on your wallet as well. You also might think about a board with a reverse camber or rocker because these type of boards cut down on edge catching witch when your learning might not be a bad thing. I would check these boards out if i were you.....

Well i think that you will have too adjust to riding on a male board because they do have a different flex patterns and they are generally wider and stiffer so although it shouldn't be too bad it will take some time for you to get used to riding a guys board but once you get used to it u will be fine and i would say that a 148 would be to big id go 146 because mens boards are generally made to handle more wight for the size then girls board but you could ride a 148 but it will be kind of stiff.... hoped that helped
