Capita Stairmaster Snowboard

Capita Stairmaster Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 December 6, 2010

theres a reason this is the best selling capita deck of all time.... this board is straight up sick. i got the 148, im 5'10 and weigh 145 and i love it. it can put out anywhere on the mountain. i really actually enjoyed riding it in powder and all over the mountain haha, and i loved popping this thing of anything i could find. in the park its a dream, especially on rails hence the name. anyways, sick board, best board ive ridden, great pop, great flexibility, not too soft, overall amazing. 5 stars

btw i got the 148 with the green background and it looks sick, so if you can get that color scheme

yea it can put down 60-70 foot booters, but if your more into the booters and kickers, check out the stairmaster extreme, which is a little stiffer and a little more directed towards jumps

VonZipper Feenom Goggle w/ Bonus Lens

December 17, 2009

that is a combination that is almost impossible to find. ill break it down for ya. in order for a lense to be mirrored it has to have a relatively dark tint, and therefore is bad at night. but why do you want a lens that does both? these goggles come with an extra lens that has a lighter tint for night time. and they are really easy to swap out so that should not be a problem. but overall, no lens can be mirrored in day light and be good at night time. its really not possible. smoke pink is a good mid light lens like for sunny days and when its snowing, but its not good at night. good luck man, peace.

VonZipper Feenom Goggle w/ Bonus Lens

VonZipper Feenom Goggle w/ Bonus Lens

Rating for this product: 5 December 17, 2009

borrowed a pair of these for about three weeks from a friend who was away on vacation, so i feel qualified for a review. first off, the size was not an issue for my relatively small face. they were a little larger than my oakley splice, so they were a littttle large on me, but i enjoyed them greatly. Awesome periphs, similar to the splices. fit awesome with my holt helmet, was a match made in heaven. realllllly love the white/gold metallic color. nicest looking lens ever, even better than oakleys fire irids that i have on my splice. so overall, yes i would recommend this to a friend, because they are straight up amazing. love em.

Union Force Snowboard Binding

Union Force Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 December 17, 2009

such sick bindings. so light, yet so durable. blows my mind every time i strap in. perfect for everything. Yea they're a little stiffer than a park strict binding, which is what i should have because im a park rider, but i really have no problem with pressing and buttering. the new toe strap, from what ive seen, is great. fits on the boot extremely nice and if you want you can always wear it the original way. the response is amazing as well, turning is so easy. such a nice binding, only binding for me.

Oakley A-Frame Goggle

December 15, 2009

1) i am almost certain the d stands for something to do with the clothing company LxRxG because they were doing a collab goggle with oakley and i think that d-A-frame goggle true carbon fiber/vr 28 is one of the products of this partnership
2)vr28 are great lenses for medium to bright light (so in other words sunny, or a little overcast). they are not good for low light skiing (like cloudy, or at night). yes, they sell A-frame replacement lenses on this site, and the clear ones are 40$ so not a bad deal at all.
good luck man, peace

Oakley Danny Kass Signature Crowbar Goggle

Oakley Danny Kass Signature Crowbar Goggle

Rating for this product: 4 December 15, 2009

these crowbars are pretty sick. first off, there isn;t really any black in the goggle like the picture suggests. its more of a light greyish. but anyways, as with any oakley goggle, great peripheal vision and great comfort. the outriggers really help take the pressure off your face. the only downside to me was that they were a little to angular, and also they were sorta hard to breath. but overall great goggle. def worth the money

Oakley A-Frame Goggle

December 14, 2009

best for night riding is clear and hi intensity yellow. persimmon is ok, but it tends to turn everything orange and i hate the look of it. if you are going to be doing night skiing a lot, buy the clear. it works the best at night because it simply has no tint. high intensity yellow does brighten things a bit, but for 40$ or so more i would take the clear. good luck man, peace.

Oakley A-Frame Goggle

December 14, 2009

best thing you should do is buy a goggle with a iridium lens (fire iridium, blue iridium, pink iridium, black iridium, gold iridium) or a vr50 lens and also buy a clear/hi intensity yellow replacement lens. weather can change and you dont want to be stuck on a sunny day with a clear lens with no replacement. clear lenses are only 40$ too, so its not a big price difference.
**also, i dont know if your open to other frames, but the von zipper feenoms are available right not on this site with a free bonus replacement lens, so check that out. probably try it on too in person because the feenom is larger on the face than the a frames. good luck man and have fun in ak.

hi-intensity yellow or clear are the best for low-light and night time skiing. if i were you, and i was on a budget, i would go with the clear because the high intensity is expensive. good luck man.

Billabong Concept Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Billabong Concept Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 14, 2009

such a nice hoody. kinda mad though cause its only like 61$ here and i got in times square for 75$ =/. whatever, on to the reviewww.
the outside of the hoody feels so silky, i just love it soooo much. its waterproof, as i spilled water on in at dinner and the water drops sat on the top of the hoody for like 5 minutes. although the outside is silky and amazing, the inside is sooo nice, so warm. honestly i could just use this for a snowboard jacket, its that warm. the black looks so nice in person, as does the white. errythang' about this hoody is amazing. best hoody i have ever purchased, and may i tell you i am stokkkkked on it.
note: i usually am a medium sweatshirt in other brands (5'11 but 130 lbs) but when i tried this on i found the large much more comfier and roomier so i chose that. i HIGHLY recommend you try this hoody on at a store though because, as always, everybody is different and have different preferences. but if you already know your sweatshirt size in billabong, go for it. you will NOT be sorry.

Oakley A-Frame Goggle

Oakley A-Frame Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 December 14, 2009

first off i gotta say these goggles are phenomenal. i have a relatively smaller face and these fit perfectly. they are comfortable, decent vision and look very nice. i have a smith holt and it fits nicely with it, and this goggle is a ratherr hard goggle to find a helmet that fits because of its curved bar on the top. and now with tit's incredibly cheap price now is the time to buy these. my goggles, white text/black iridiums are amazing, only one goggle is better and thats the splice (which i loveeee as well. go check out my review for that) this goggle and the splice make an incredible duo. these do not fog UNLESS you get moisture on the inside of the lense and wipe it with your glove >.< which is what i did, but thats not the goggles fault, thats mine. anyways great goggle, great style, great price, buy em. you won't be sorry,

Burton Freestyle Snowboard Boot - Men's - 09/10

Burton Freestyle Snowboard Boot - Men's - 09/10

Rating for this product: 4 December 14, 2009

well first off they look real nice. i love the traditional lacing too. It may be harder than if they had the quick lacing system but i love the feel of lacing these up. feels similar to a hockey skate. anyways, these things kill it on the mountain, not just park although they are park based they do decent on the mountain. they are a little more flexible, considering they are a park boot. the only con i have is that i get cold toes sometimes, which is a downer because if that didn't happen this would be a five star review. but as always, dont read this review think they're amazing and order em right away. go to a store and, no joke, try on every single boot in the store because everyones foot is different and everyone has specific preferences. all in all, its a great boot. enjoy. peace.

Volcom Jean Snowboard Pant - Men's

Volcom Jean Snowboard Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 14, 2009

these pants are sick. i went to a store and got these and also tried on the volcom frigid pant and only noticed a few differences. one is that these pants are a SHELL pant. there is no insulation really, except for this mesh layer on the inside of the pant. so if your getting these and you live somewhere where its like -10 degrees consistently, not the pant for you. the other is that there really is no pocket space in this pant, but that wasn't a big deal for me. overall i really like em, and i loveee the blue color. looks so niceee in person. they are plently comfy with a simple pair of long johns or pajama pants under em and they offer great style for a great price.
if anyone was wondering, i am 5'11, 130 pounds with a waist of 30" and i went with the medium, just cause i like em baggy. grant it i will need a belt but they still fit niceeee.

Flux Emblem Snowboard Binding

Flux Emblem Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 3 December 14, 2009

i have had these bindings for a while and they arent terrible. they do the job and have a pretty nice flex and USUALLY hold your boots in. The highback is actually very low, so if anyone is wondering the high back is around an inch or so shorter than the union forces. i like the screwing system (highback and straps), makes adjustments muchhhh easier and quick. the only really downside is the the straps arent the best, and the ratchets aren't that nice. but if your'e looking for a decent binding that is cheap and will do the job and that is good all over the mountain, this is it.

its pretty sick board, and great for me, who is a tall but light guy. im 5'11 but only weigh 130 and i ride the 142 comfortably, even though its 10 pounds outside the maximum weight recommendation =/. anyways, its a sick board, handles reaaal nice. good pop, nice flex. great all over the mountain. i really enjoy riding this board. another great board coming out of ride. i hope i see a day when i can ride the dh though =[. dream board. but yea, ruckus is a sick board, for a sick price. you wont be dissatisfied.

Sick as hell

Oakley Splice Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 December 5, 2009

i had a frames before these and they were getting little small and the peripheral vision on them kinda sucked. so i went to the Oakley store one day at the mall and tried both these and the crowbars on. i tried the crowbars on first and i thought i was in love, they fit nice and had good peripheral vision. i was ready to buy them when the guy told me to try these on. the second i put them on i knew i had to have these. the peripheral vision on these is amazing and because of the new shape, they were incredibly easy to breath, a considerable amount easier than the crowbars, and were so light i culdnt even tell they were there. they are so dope. i got them in white with the fire lens and they are the sickest goggles i have ever owned. if i could give this 6 stars, i would. amazing. period. get them, you wont be sorry.**also it says for medium to large face and my face is actually sorta small, but they still fit great, especially with my smith holt helmet. not a single con to these goggles, except for maybe the price.
