Burton Board Sack

December 9, 2011

i just bought a new 159 cm board. i plan to fit my board, bindings, boots, and some apparel into a 166. will it all fit? and more importantly, what does "light padding" mean? when this bag gets tossed 10 feet onto a luggage cart at the airport, will the edges/bottom get torn up at all? thanks a lot for any help.

i just received mine last night. the flannel plaid looks very good and it has backpack straps for easier carrying. if you look in the Q&A section for this product, you'll see my question regarding it being able to withstand being thrown around by airport staff. the rep claimed it was padded, but rest assured there is no padding whatsoever, it's just a bag. i'm going to see how my board/bindings hold up after my flight this weekend, but i'm worried about my bindings/edges.

if i have my board in there, with bindings attached, along with boots and a few other things... will it withstand getting thrown around by baggage people at the airport?
