Burton Cherish Jacket - Women's - 08/09
February 26, 2010
Well Allison I wear a medium and Im similar in size. One thing I would say is that if you usually wear smalls in clothing I would just ask yourself this. Are the smalls you wear tight or are they baggy? If they are loose than you would probably wear a small, however, if they are tight I would go for the medium because like you said you want it to be loose for shredding.

Burton SLX Snowboard Boot - Men's - 09/10
February 26, 2010
I would go to a shop that does boot work and have someone guide you in this process. If you don't have time to do that then you just want to make sure that the J-bars are basically cradling your ankle bone so that your heel is unable to lift.
Also, you may want to just try riding the boot a couple of days first, to fully understand how your foot is moving in the boot.

Burton Infidel Snowboard Binding - 09/10

I would get the infidel if your going to be mostly shredding the park. I would get the customs if your going to be doing more all mountain freestyle. Both bindings are amazing.

Burton Custom V-Rocker Snowboard - 09/10
February 25, 2010
Hi Christopher
You are right on the cusp on this one. Ideally if you are rockin a Burton Boot you are fine because the Custom is a mid-wide. However, if your boot is larger in size or a bulky style boot you may run into some trouble.

Burton Feelgood ICS Snowboard - Women's - 09/10

You know both boards would be fine for a beginner. I like the Feelgood Flying V its soft and forgiving but still has a sold edge hold when you engage the edge. Good luck and welcome to snowboarding.

Burton Mutiny Jacket - Women's - 09/10
February 24, 2010
Personally I like this jacket better. The Society jacket is more of a shell piece where this jacket has a 100g insulate.
I also think this jacket is very cute.

Burton Poacher Insulated Pant - Men's - 09/10
February 24, 2010
Too me it really sounds like you would still be a large. Remember snowpants will seem long without your snowboard boots on.
Also Burton has 3 fits. Team fit (baggy) Signature Fit (medium) Slim Fit (fitted or tight).

Burton Lip-Stick Snowboard - Women's - 09/10
February 24, 2010
I would personally stay with the 146cm size in the lipstick. I think that the 149 will be to large for your wieght especially in a freestyle board.

Burton Hero Snowboard - Wide - 09/10
February 24, 2010
Are you on a wide because your boot size is over a 10.5? Also, How much do you wiegh? Sometimes if you go too small the board might be too squirrly. You can go small but make sure you are accounting for flex and personal wieght.

Burton Stroker Jacket - Men's - 09/10
February 24, 2010
The Stroker is not really a whole lot shorter of a jacket just slimmer style. It's a very different style from the AK Cyclic jacket. The Stroker is very cool with an edgy style.

Burton Joystick Snowboard - 09/10
February 24, 2010
Either board would be a great size for you it just depends on what your riding focus is. If you plan on freeriding more go with the 163, but, if park is more your jam then get the 159.

Burton City System Jacket - Women's
February 24, 2010
It depends on what size you get for her. I suggest a size small for her or (XS) if the size small sweaters are baggy on her. This jacket has a nice silhouette but it is not meant to be worn tight.

Burton Chopper Snowboard - Youth - 09/10
February 17, 2010
It's ok to have kids on smaller boards so that they gain mobility for learning tricks. However, a board that board may be too small, meaning too squirrelly. Basically, it will make it harder because your child will not have any stability.

Burton Feelgood ES Snowboard - Women's - 08/09
February 17, 2010
Hi Sophie,
You need to ride this board with EST bindings because the Feelgood ES board has a EST system. I suggest the Burton Lexa binding they are a really great mid-stiff binding.

Foursquare Hearn Jacket - Women's
January 20, 2010
I think you are talking about hand panties (the stretch fabric that wraps around your thumb). If that right then yes the Hearn jacket does offer hand panties with an added layer to keep your wrist area warm. This comes in handy when snow is sloughing down your jacket.
