Answer to: "No lace belt? Do they still have stretch at least?"

Matix Miner Denim Pant - Men's

There is no lace belt on the newer Matix "Miner" Denim Jeans this year. At least, the pairs I ordered did not have them. The Fresh Deep and Harvest Raw washes are made of 99% cotton and 1% spandex. The Dry Stress wash is 100% cotton

Also, if you go to http://www.matixclothing.com/ you can download their Fall 2012 Catalog (you may have to right click and go to "Save Link As..") and it breaks down their new clothing line down for you (sizing, etc.). That should help

Volcom Black Zip Denim Pant - Men's

Finally, a pair of jeans that fits next to perfect. I've tried on multiple pairs of skate/surf jeans & can't stand the low rise huggers. If you are looking for roomy, not too baggy jeans, these fit the best by far. I have 4 pairs of Matix jeans. They are the the Miner in Poor Boy waist 32 (skinnier & length 32) & in the new Jackpot color (skinnier, length isn't as long on these, say 30.5"-31"-ish) & 2 pairs of Triumphs. One of the Triumphs is a waist 33 in Bluelight & they're baggy & long, definitely need a belt to hold these up on me. The other Triumph is a waist 32 in Jackpot (same bagginess as the Jackpot Miners!, but not as long). Weird! This was a bit discouraging for me at first, as far as the bagginess goes, but I think they get baggier as the waist size goes up, or at least from my experience they do. But I love Matix, so it's all good. The leg fits perfect for me in these Volcom Black Zips & I'm about 5'10", 170 pounds. I'm going to have to exercise & skate more & hopefully the 32x30 will fit me or I'm gonna have to go for a 33x30 ha. Enjoy, peace.

RVCA Chevy Remix II Denim Pant - Men's

They are more of a straight leg jean and the denim is nice. I tend to like baggier jeans, & for me they ended up having a bit lower rise than I expected. If you like regular straight leg jeans with a lower rise, get these. I may look into RVCA's baggier jean, the Charger III.
