These things rock!!! I was coming off of an older pair of Drake F50's. Theses are a few once's heavier but they are a true L/XL(my old ones were M/L). Granted, with all the tweaks, they do take some playing with to get them dialed in. Once done, they are fast to get in and out. The heelhoop is so nice it makes split second turns and switch riding smooth and almost second nature. As far as flex is concerned you truly can make theses any way you want them. I rode in powder/packed powder conditions with the soft insert and great control in the trees and on the tranny's and rollers... crank'em all the way and they still feel great.
