Volcom Verses Insulated Jacket - Men's

Volcom Verses Insulated Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 September 7, 2011

I just bought this jacket in Ice. It is super comfy, really warm, and like any coat these days it has a mesh goggle stash pocket, an mp3 pocket...duh, a pass holder under the front left pocket that just pulls out and it's not some flimsy dimsy piece of crap with a drawstring or whatever...it's a legit one that won't fall or rip off randomly. I'll definitely be wearing it when it dumps.

Oh...I just went and looked at it and I found a super secret stash pocket by the powder skirt. AWSM

Union Contact Binding

September 6, 2011

Hey guys, I have a question. I am an all-mountain freestyle rider, I skate the mountain, bomb the mountain, huck off cat-tracks, drop some cliffs, whatever i'm feeling, duck into the park to hit a few rails, maybe a booter, then slip back into the trees and find some powder stashes. I probably spend about 35% of my time in the park. Do you think I'd be happier with Contacts or Forces?

K2 Snowboards Maysis Boa Snowboard Boot - Men's

September 6, 2011

So i'm considering buying this boot..along with the thirty two tm-two lace. Has anybody used either of these boots? I've ridden Nitro boots for the last few years and I'm over it. Right now I'm leaning towards the Thirtytwo's, any opinions would be helpful.

Technine Bradshaw Pro Boomstick Snowboard

September 5, 2011

I rode a K2 Darkstar last year with flatline camber and I really liked it. It sounds like you'd probably be pretty happy with this board. It's really soft, so if you're strictly riding park and street it'll be perfect.

Lib Technologies Burtner's Box Scratcher BTX Snowboard

September 5, 2011

It all just depends on what style of riding you do most. I am 6'2, 175 and I ride a 157. I do everything on it. If you are more into park, rails, and jibbing I would probably buy something a little smaller. It's mostly preference though, but if I were you I'd probably go with anything between 155-159 for an all mountain board

DC Park Snowboard Boot - Men's

September 5, 2011

You should be between a 10 and 11. Some boots you might need to upsize, and others you might need to downsize. I wear a size 13 shoe, and I've always worn size 13 snowboard boots.

DAKINE Mustang Glove - Men's

DAKINE Mustang Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 5, 2011

Lifetime warranty! Nuff said. But in any case, I own 3 different pairs of DAKINE gloves and I love each and every pair. The mustangs have a low profile and they are so plush on the inside. Easy on, easy off. They aren't the warmest glove out there, and in the spring time these gloves absorb water a bit easier than my other pairs....Bottom line, lifetime warranty. Buy DAKINE

686 Smarty Command Jacket - Men's

686 Smarty Command Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 5, 2011

686 for the win bro! I bought this jacket 3 seasons ago and I absolutely love it. It has lots of pockets and stash places, it's compatible with 686 snowboard pants meaning you can connect the powder skirt to your pants, it comes with the inside liner which keeps you really warm (although I never use the liner). It's a quality coat, definitely worth the money

Love these pants

686 Smarty Original Cargo 3-In-1 Pant - Men's

686 Smarty Original Cargo 3-In-1 Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 5, 2011

I bought a pair of these 3 seasons ago. I love these pants, they have an inner liner which keeps you really warm. Any 686 jacket is compatible with these pants. The material has held up great, I put my pants through hell the last 3 seasons. The only place where there has been significant wear is at the bottom of the pants by my heels where they rub on my highbacks. Overall these pants were a great buy...Plus they have tons of pockets for whatever you might want to stash while you're on the mountain.
