All pros, no cons. These goggles rock!

EG2s look a little ridiculous unless you have a huge head! My boyfriend is technically the owner of these, but I steal them alllll the time.

Our homie has the beer ones and they're cheesy looking to us, but he loves looking through them!

I have this watch in black with a purple face. It works well. The only thing I dont really like is that the band links are so chunky, it's pretty set in the shape of an oval it makes around your wrist, I have a really thin wrist (i'm a girl and this is a guys watch) so it doesn't really sit right on me.

I still like it though. fa sho.

I have a size 8 boot, and the M/L fit wayyyy too big. I've adjusted everything but the fit leaves a lot to be desired, so I dont ride them anymore. They pinched and created really gnarly pressure points.

The Cons (besides picking the wrong size)
Theres no medium, so it's hard to choose the right size.
The you-choose toe/over-toe strap doesnt fit good anywhere. I wish they'd just pick one instead of trying to have it be both.

The Pros
The construction on these are the best I've ever seen. Compared to Burtons, Flows, and Fluxs, Unions have THE best construction.
Simple ratchets. They dont slip or jam.
Cushy baseplate cover.

I have these and they're decent.

The toe cap fits a little awkward, but it gets the job done and the ratchets dont slip on the ladders. One of my ladders is basically stripped (bought em used on criagslist, came that way) and they still dont slip at all.

I got these because I bought unions in a size too big and they hurt me. Since I blew all my cash on those (and couldn't stand them, and my previous bindings were broken so I had no other options) i found these on craigslist for $20 with no baseplates. Got some burton baseplates through a thrift store and voila.

I'd highly recommend them if you're in a similar situation and find some on CL

I own that bright ass yellow one. It's not so bright anymore. The band and the face housing have worn differently too so it just kinda looks like sh!t now.

I dont really like the way Nixon charges you before they even know if they need to fix anything, so I basically just wear a watch until I have to throw it away, which is coming up soon for this little guy.

Havent taken it into the Ocean much, so it's held up pretty well in dry air. I mostly just check the tides because the La Jolla tide pools are awesome, but you have to go at low tide. I just check it on my shelf, and that's about the extent of my watch's life now since it's so ugly.

I cant say how the new features are holding up, or if they're worth that $124 price tag, but I think the womens version is BUNK! All the shit thats on the screen, how could you even see it if it's smaller?

It's pretty cool for checking tides... or you could use google!

Since this watch is one of the cheapest Nixon produces, and offers it in so many colors, it is VERY common.

I like it, people always ask me if I'm from san diego when they see it, because they recognize it, which is pretty cool since I am from SD.

I own it in Rubine, so it definitely stands out. The shiny plastic on it does kinda stick to my skin though, but all watches do at one point or another.

This watch is a fun conversation piece and tells time.

4 of 5 stars because it's a bit played out at this point. But that wont stop me from buying another one. (Most likely purple next)

Pros:
Watch face crystal sort of magnifies face, which looks awesome
It's beautiful and simple
good medium sized face
New design, so not many people have it

Cons:
New design, so it's overpriced @ $124...
Because the leather band is thin and not sealed, it has already started to fray up at the edges
pinched ends on metal band holder causes more fraying and difficulty in putting watch on each time.

I got mine with a Nixon VIP card (60%off) so it is worth it at a lower price. Wait for it to be out more than a season as this is a new watch, and it'll get higher ratings.

I fear that eventually, the metal that actually holds the face onto the band will start to wear and bow out, very unattractive if it does happen, So i tend to shy away from wearing it when another watch could match my outfit.

Overall, great watch, but they need to seal those sides and/or drop the price!

The portrait is great (I see my question from 2010 before I bought it on here, haha wow! Had it for a while now) I own it in black.

The reason I like this watch is that is has a rather large face, and the band is awesome. Some Nixon watches has unsealed edges on their leather, which wears... like a strip of leather, ha. But after owning this watch for two years, the thick leather band has not stretched or frayed at all and has retained it's shape perfectly (aside from the hole I use, which has stretched only a small bit)I might have to pick it up in white now that I see it's still available and hasn't gone down in price much.

My boyfriend just got these after rocking c02s for years and years and years (one highback was literally held together by a bandana I donated to the cause one day) according to him, the Malavitas are almost as good as brand new c02s. Spends most time in the park, but also shreads down groomers, and not so groomed mtn runs.

Soft baseplate cover means squishy (in a good way) heel comfort, and rigid construction means ultimate control elsewhere.

Once they showed up on Whiskey, prices all over the internet plummeted. Dog Funk now has them for $155 + shipping which is a great price.

The rest of the reviews on this pack are funny to me. No, it's not a hydration pack, nor does it claim to be. And I cant seem to find any claims of it having a waterbottle pocket either. So if you're new to Dog funk, my suggestion to you (and all of you who already own this pack, and apperantly didn;'t read these upon purchase...) READ THE TECH SPECS... not super labor intensive there ya bunch of rocket scientists.

Now, onto my review.
Got this backpack on Whiskey Militia for $24 +shipping in Neon Blocks.

Love this pack. Why? Because it's versatile. Already done some intense study seshs with this pack (thank you padded laptop sleeve), and I've also taken it on a couple of back country hikes. It's great for snowboard carry and easy to ride with, and if you're not a kook, and you care about the environment at all, there are plenty of spaces to hook a water bottle with a carabiner on.

Lifetime warranty, check.
Read the Tech Specs, check.
Attend classes and stare at Whiskey militia all lecture, check.
Hike in Mammoth Mountain's backcountry, check.

This isn't a serious pack, and if thats what you're looking for, I suggest you take some backcountry classes before buying this pack and then b!tching about the non-existent bladder pouch... duh.

I guess I missed the memo on there being a womens version of this backpack. I love mine, although it's technically the mens version. They offer it in sicker colors. so check out the mens if you dont find a color you fancy here, as I believe they're exactly the same. Also, I actually reviewed it over there.

I got the pink and white one from Whiskey Militia for $24, well worth that price (it's funny how the SF Giants colored one is the most expensive on dog funk, very smart dog funk.)

I like this watch because sometimes, telling time with analog is too hard. haha just kidding! This watch is great because it is super thin! My friend said it reminded her of Zenon (Disney TV Movie) and I said, it's about damn time we get some space aged sh!t.

The only thing I don't fully love about the watch, are the two light buttons? They're exactly the same, they both light up both screens for the same amount of time, and it doesn't add to the symmetry of the watch in a particularly desirable way. Just weird, but whatever, it doesn't merit the deduction of one star, so it's still gonna get a 5 of 5 star rating from me.

The plastic isn't all sticky-to-your-skin like Nixon plastic, so that's a huge plus in my book.

The only colors they had on whiskey were the red/white/blue, and the pink/white. So don't hold out for any of the other ones. The pink looks exactly the same in person, so dont trip on the possibility of it arriving orange and not pink. Picture is to show the thinness.

Got the purple "Wildflower" ones from Whiskey militia for I think $9 +shipping.

Foot size 7.5, I got the XS/S size and they fit GREAT!! No slipping in my boots, stays put on my calf, and they dont go all the way up to my knee where they could potentially scrunch and bunch and cut off circulation (which is a huge problem with buying small men's riding socks... dont do that)so they stop a few inches shy of my knee and I like it that way.

The coolest part of them is the way the knit is on the top of the ankle, its like, an accordian or something. hard for me to explain but it assists in that non-bunching/scrunching quality that is very important for female riders. If you click on the purple one, you can see the detail better, it's like a thinner knit in certain parts so when you bend, it fits together perfectly.

Black N' Purple/Grey Plasma Chrome - I got these and they're awesome. I'd imagine other color variations are the same though.

The plastics used on these are nice, doesn't feel cheap, black part is matte, purple part is shiny. Lightweight and don't pinch my head or nose in a weird spot (like most Von Zippers) to where I'll get a headache.

My favorite thing about these sunglasses is that they cover my eyebrows! Not sure if other people hate when their eyebrows show over the rim of sunglasses but I think it looks ridiculous and it's always a risk to buy online, so I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived and I tried them on.

This is my first pair of Electric Riff Raffs, I'm sure when they break or I lose them, I'll buy another pair (did it for years with Smith Domino shades, until they stopped selling them, so I think these will be my new buy-again shades)

Got em on Whiskey Militia for somewhere around $40 Great price, they're worth more.

I got this jacket for my boyfriend on whiskey for $37.99 well worth that price, not sure how much more I'd pay for it. Got him a large and it fits similar to a tall tee.

There's a zip pocket inside of the normal sweatshirt pocket which is cool, but it's not fully sealed, so it leads into the normal pocket, as you should already know stuff can fall out of that one, so I dont really understand why they'd put a zipper on it. I just sewed it shut so that is more functional for things you dont want to lose (car keys while boarding, ski pass on a spring day, etc)

Also, on that pocket, if you unzip it "too much" the zipper gets off one track. Fixed that with some sewing also.

Other than that weird dysfunctional pocket, love everything about this jacket. His favorite part is that the half zip on the neck area extends so it's good for riding without a facemask, you can still tuck in your chin and mouth on windy lifts.

The material is a rougher, texturized, material, and it's not waterproof. Colors on Blue are true to appearance, unless your monitor levels are messed up.
