They never come undone and I prefer a stiffer boot which these definitely are. They are alright but not nearly as responsive as my Rome Arsenals. It could be that i just haven't found and dialed in my settings since I was riding them for the first time. I must say they are very light though. I also do not like how you undo the toe strap by pulling up on the ratchet. It has a soft flex that I love and this is the lightest board I have ever owned. It does turn much more differently than I'm used to but i bought it in a 158 and i weigh 195 pounds. Would definitely recommend this to a friend.
