DAKINE Heli Pro DLX 20L Backpack -1200cu in

September 14, 2011

What are my chances that my Dakine or standard Camelbak 100 oz bladders/tubes/bite valves will a)fit in the bladder pocket and through the tube sleeve and b)won't experience freezing in the tube and valve with this pack?

Trying to figure out if a 100 oz bladder will work w/ this pack and if I need to get an insulated tube/valve as well to insure I can still drink in in sub-20F temps. Just blowing the water back into the bladder hasn't worked for me with my summer packs/uninsulated tubes so far.

Oakley Karn Lite Jacket - Men's

September 12, 2011

Not sure on the color question, but the difference between the Karn and the Karn Lite is that the Karn has 100g of thinsulate in spots where you might expect the most heat loss whereas the Karn Lite is just the shell. Should be identical in all other respects.

I got to check out the Karn at a local Oakley Vault store and either seem like they would be a pretty nice jacket for the price. Unfortunately they didn't have any in my size so I'm now waiting on delivery.

Just to add to the description, there is also a micro-fleece goggle pocket on the left side accessible from the outside, under the storm flap, Napoleon style, w/ cable pass through to the inside of the jacket.
