It actually sucks that frogskins are being offered on dogfunk
For many years the coolest part about frogskins was their demand. They weren't offered or distributed to all sunglass shops. At the early stage of the "limited supply" reissues, boutique shops sold dead-stock and sample early releases. Then the polarized, firmer, better built throwback versions came out and the demand stayed on a "need to know" basis. I knew one shop in Boston that sold FS's and I can admit i went an entire year - four seasons - with never seeing a single pair, aside from a green/clear/yellow lens classic pair some snowboarder chick had. That luster has worn off, I still love my "reissues" yeah they are polarized, yeah, they are light and delicate to the touch, but a little care and some pride? you have yourself a pair of shades. just dont buy them from here, go to your local shop and see what they can do for Chr*st sake
